Clean, 70's decor
While the place has not been spruced up in decades, it worked great. comfy, newish beds at a great price. You can't have it all and I'll take the cheaper price than fancy decor anytime. Very good pool for laps on roofl

Overall a pleasant staying
The front of the plaza is under construction right now, so it looks kind of messy. However, the location was very good, convenient to many museums and galleries, the capitol building as well.

Footweary tourists
Could be better
Maids entered and cleaned our room despite having the DO NOT DISTURB sign up. We were not happy! Otherwise our stay was fine. Had a poolside room which was nice, except the sliding door was almost impossible to use. Overall good location with mosty pleasant staff, but a bit shabby.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION If you want to be in the heart of things in DC - then this is the hotel to stay in. It seriously needs an interior facelift - the wallpaper is peeling in the rooms, ice machines don't work and the current outside noise is unbelievable. The breakfast buffet is the best bet and has pretty good items and it is reasonably priced.

Nice Long weekend get away
The location was perfect for walking tour of National Mall area. Conseirge service was right on the money. Very good tips of local excellent dining experiences. Also very convenient to metro system. Breakfast every morning was above average at hotel restaurant. I would reccommed highly for a not so fancy get away.

Location is great. Right by Metro, walk to Mall, couldn't be much better. Staff very accommodating, but hotel needs updating. Also major construction work going on just outside front of hotel and it's happening from 7pm to midnight. Request a room overlooking pool area; they're very quiet.

We love the hotel. Its clean comfortable.close to mall. Easy to the metro. Staff are nice. Just what u need in a hotel. We always stay here while in DC -,which has been 3,yrs in a row for Police Week. You guys rock....

Weekend getaway to DC!
This hotel offers an excellent location if you wish to hit the DC attractions on foot. The Metro, and other public transportation is also close and convenient. The staff was polite, professional, and helpful at all times. We felt most welcome. Shopping and various eateries are also nearby. Just take the elevator to the bottom floor.
