Just what I needed
I was looking for an inexpensive hotel in DC, and was pleased with the rate for this Holiday Inn. I knew going into it the amenities put it at a three-star hotel, but honestly the execution of that was perfect. I really feel like the staff made my stay excellent, from the front desk, to the room staff, to the restaurant that served up a delicious meal. I remember remarking a couple of times that for the price I felt the hotel was really wonderful. If you're looking for top-tier features, look elsewhere. But really a clean room, GREAT service, good food and relatively close distance to downtown DC (about a $8 cab ride), this hotel was perfect.

If you plan to travel a lot in the city, get a metro pass. The bus system is super fast and has constant stops. You'll spend way less than using taxis.

Decently-priced DC hotel
Excellent location for my business meeting and close to Metro for travel from airport. Good value for DC. Comfortable room. Elevators slow and couldn't get all TV channels listed on the guide in the room.

great central location
This holiday inn is ideally located in the central dc. We did not have any problem getting to places. Food at the restaurant in the lobby floor is terrible. Bad presentation and too salty. Staff in the lobby are horrible. Unfriendly and short tempered. I don't understand why they are working in service providing job. They were easily irritated and gave us attitude.

Amazing experience, great location!
We had the best time at this hotel! We arrived earlier and they let us check in before. We did have an issue with a small leak, but they moved us right away into a different room and gave us coupons for free breakfast. The location was PERFECT and everything value+ price was a 5 star. I def. would come back there!

Holiday inn Washington central/white house
We found a mouse in one of our rooms on 8/19. After speaking with management they have agreed not to charge us for our remaining nights. They told us we needed to contact you for a refund. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks, Diane Crawford

Washington White House Visit
The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and nice and I would recommend this hotel to others. My only issue is that we were put in a smoking room. Might not be their fault. Restaurant breakfast was very good. Rooftop pool a bit on the small side but great views of National Cathedral and surrounding area.

Georgetown Cupcakes really was the highlight of the trip for my daughter, but for the rest of the family the walk down M Street to Georgetown was itself worth the time and effort.

Four day "touristry" stay.
Great breakfast buffet, loved the room service, friendly staff, and much appreciated the complimentary washers & dryers, which came in handy when we got soaked coming back 5 blocks from McPherson Square Metro stop in a downpour. Elevators a bit small and sluggish and some beverage vending machines didn't cool drinks--but overall, a great value. Pool hours limited if you anticipate using pool to exercise either early (not open til 10) or later in the day (crowded and closed at dusk).
