Spacious suites in D.C.’s center with on-site upscale restaurant
The all-suite Embassy Suites Washington D.C. gives guests room to spread out. Suites come with a private bedroom and living room. The hotel is about two blocks from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and within walking distance to D.C. attractions. Chinatown shops and restaurants are close. Guests wake up to complimentary breakfast and can end the day at the hotel's restaurant, Finn & Porter.

did not meet expectations or value for the price
The temperature was too cold and could not be adjusted even though I raised the thermostat to 80 degrees it would not go above 68 degrees it made me sick. the second day I turned the fan off completely and the room stayed cold. I left the room at 7:00 am came back to the room at 3:15 pm to rest before the next meeting and the room still had not been cleaned.

Perfect couples or friends getaway
The only complaint I have for this hotel was that it was crowded at check-in, but hey what do you expect on a Friday evening. This hotel is at a perfect location! Restaurants and bars are at a walking distance. If you are looking to go sight seeing the metro station is also walking distance. The hotel is of very good quality, and there is a complimentary breakfast every morning ( more bang for your buck!)

Great DC hotel
This was the first time I stayed at this Embassy Suites, and it was a great experience. The location is perfect, right by the Convention Center and walking distance to the Verizon Center/China Town. My room was huge, staff was great and you cannot beat the cook to order breakfast. I would stay there anytime.

Thrifty guy
Good Stay
Everyone was very friendly at this hotel. The staff provided excellent customer service and the manager's nightly reception along with the free morning breakfast buffet were great. This hotel is located close enough to most attractions by foot. I would stay again when visiting the DC area. Robby at the front desk was very helpful and very knowledgeable regarding area sites and restaurants. Overall, a very good experience.

Chinatown is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Full Kee restaurant is very authentic Chinese food. We really enjoyed.

DID NOT GET A KING-SIZED BED THE FIRST NIGHT, BUT WAS GIVEN ONE THE NEXT DAY. FREE FULL BREAKFAST WAS A WONDERFUL TOUCH. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. FRIENDLY STAFF. HOTEL WAS BEING UPDATED, HOWEVER THERE WAS NO INCONVENIENCE.

Adequate conference accomodations
Good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Full breakfast with your stay as well as afternoon happy hour and snacks. Room was large, but a little shabby. Clean, well equipped. Room service was efficient. Be sure and ask for a second floor romm to "capture" the free WiFi from the lobby. It's a bit noisy but you won't have to pay the daily cost.
