Elegant hotel with classy restaurant steps away from the White House
The Hamilton Crowne Plaza is in a restored 1920s-era building located in Lafayette Park. The hotel is near most D.C. tourist and business attractions. Guests don't need to leave the hotel to enjoy a delicious meal or a happy hour drink. The hotel's 14K Restaurant offers regional American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a classy environment. The restaurant even has a children's menu. There's also a lounge where guests can sip wines from an extensive list.

great location fantastic service
we loved the location .The staff are very helpful and the restaurant serves good food.The only drawback :the rooms are small but tastefully decorated and have a large flatscreen.We would stay here again.

Wonderful people and location
The Crowne Plaza was everything we needed! The staff were exceptional...so friendly, helpful, and do everything they could to make our stay in DC during spring break a fun one! The doormen greeted us with smiles, hellos, and asked if they could assist us in any way. The concierge was so helpful in giving suggestions, arranging tours, etc. The room was very clean, comfortable, and accessible to so many tourist attractions! Definitely would stay there again!!!

Great Spot to see DC
Really nice place, close to White House and Mall. Staff really friendly and helpful, enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Great location, great room
The location was amazing, walking distance to the white house, the museums and chinatown. Close to metro and lots of places to eat nearby. They allowed us to check in before noon which was nice but couldn't get us a room with a king size bed. Room is nicely decorated and surprisingly roomy. Would stay here again.

so good
When i got there i was greated with a smile. the door was opened for me. check in was a breeze, she was very delightfull. my room was so sweet to die for, that room was made for me. the bed was so soft. i didnt wasnt to get out of it. the gym was great. i got work done at the business dest provided in the room. i cant wait to come back. i told my friends it was the greatest stay i ever had, thank you so very much...

Hamilton Crowne Plaza is a great choice!
Staff was very friendly and very responsive to all questions and needs. Handy to have nice bar/restaurant and built-in Starbuck's. So easy to get a cab -- pulling up one after the other in morning and easily hailed by staff in afternoon. Walking distance to other nice restaurants for lunch and dinner. Room was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. I would definitely recommend.

Old Ebbitt Grill dating from 1856 is a short walk from Crowne Plaza and has great food (try the mussels) and great atmosphere.

Very nice but pricey on parking
Hotel was well located for my sightseeing stay in DC. Very convenient with Starbucks located in the building for a quick grab of caffeine and such. Accomodations are nice with everyone doing a great job. Reseached other parking options, such as, leaving vehicle at airport and riding Metro or using other parking lots (they run about $25 a night). Hotel was pricey at $42 a night plus tax ( think $50 a day) for parking but the convenience factor made it acceptable. Drove to National Cathedral and Georgetown so wanted vehicle handy.
