Great hotel and location
We were immediately impressed with the hotel and the location. The only complaints we had were that the shower pressure was poor and the water never heated. Also, at 1 am we were disturbed by a drunk patron who tried to break into our hotel room thinking it was his.... twice.

Great location in DC!
The hotel is average by itself but if you want to be walking distance to the white house without spending a lot of money, this is the place. Not luxurious but practical. Right next to a metro station. Has room service and nice bar in lobby for an after a day of sightseeing beer, eat and a drink or two.

Awesome place
The place has perfect location, right next to the Farragut west Nd north station, but the west station does not open on weekends, so we had to take the red line and change to the orange line. The wifi works but signal is not very strong.

Quick trip to Washington DC
The overall experience ar CQ was great. There were only two issues. The people in the room next to us was loud and woke us up at 1:00 AM! Might be room 902? They had a very loud child. Also, we must have been in a handicapped room, there was no tub, but had a ground level shower. This was not a problem, except, it was hard to get in the bed with two people. The foot and side of the bed was too close to the wall. The one side was great for one person and a wheelchair, but not for two people. The room actually reminded me of a room in an ocean liner, it was that small. Plus side of this room was that the big screen TV was great. The desk was nice, but since there was no other furniture, there was no room for luggage.

Weekend in the Capitol
This is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The price was already excellent and when I got there to check in, they were offering suite upgrades for only $25 more so I took them up on the offer. This was a great decision. I was on the 7th floor looking out on Farragut Center. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. I will be staying here again.

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Parking is tricky in this area. Garages are open late Saturday night but not on Sunday morning. We had to wait 3 hours for the attendant to come back to DC so we could get our car back. Do a better job than we did of asking the hotel where to park.

Not bad, if you don't mind
Construction, maids barging into your room, and an unfriendly lobby staff. The room was nice and the hotel is nice, but the elevator wasn't working, and there are ten floors. Without the construction/elevator issues, this is a nice place to stay, right by the White House.
