DC Trip
From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly & helpful. When I needed directions the next day or had questions throughout my stay, the staff was knowledgeable. Abou & Bernadette were terrific. David on the other hand, was not rude to me but to his fellow staff, talking in a condescending manner. Not cool. My room was very comfortable, clean & inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel which is a decent place to sleep in what was a slightly out of the way nice residential neighborhood. The hotel is lacking any pizazz/ flair but is a decent place to get a good nights sleep. What I saved on the room rate more than paid for the taxi rides to the D.C. convention center about a ten minute ride away. The room had a alcove dining area and a full mini kitchen. I would stay here again if the price was right.

Great hotel
Its a nice hotel, big room with Kitchen. 6 mins walk to Metro station. There are a lot cute bar in 17th street, also there is a Gay club Cobalt just 3 mins walk and another gay bar just 5 mins walk. Love here a lot, always be my choice when I visit DC

Nice hotel, But...
I can say a lot of great things about this place. Great staff, comfortable room, great surroundings. My biggest peeve is that they offered free parking and when I checked in, the parking lot was full, and had park almost 2 blocks away. Not a problem I'd run into in hotel's. All in all, a great place for the money though.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location,not too far from the subway but in a nice residential area but there are still several restaurants in the area. The room was a bit smaller than expected but ok for 1 person. Having the kitchenette was a great plus. Bring those walking shoes!

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Unique presentation of small items such as soaps. Wonderfully fluffy pillows. Pleasant location among diplomats from around the world. Was happy to chat in French with both front desk as well as other patrons. I would return enthusiastically with family next time. bernard

Glad it was a one night stay.
The hotel is in a great location. The hotel is very hip and modern and has taken allot of steps toward being green. Loved the Kurag coffee maker in the room. They offer free parking, however they only have about 12 spots, mostly for compact vehicles. If you don't get there early, your out of luck and street parking is very very limited. The bed, one word, AWEFUL. I think sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable. Bathroom is small but makes great use of the space, however cleaning needs to do a better job, I found two hairs that were clearly not mine. [...] the hotel itself does not accept the Discover card so be ready to use another major credit card at check in.

very nice but a word of caution
Very comfortable, clean and quiet in a nice neighborhood at a very good price for the quality. I'd stay there again. Be aware, though, that if you have a car the free parking they advertise may have a catch. There are not enough parking spaces at the hotel, so some people have to park on the street. Finding a space isn't always easy and you have to move your car every two hours until 8:30 pm Monday-Friday.
