Top Sportsman
Best Kept Secret in DC
Wonderful place. Wonderful decore, The staff was very helpful. I felt safe 24/7. Great location to anything in DC via the Metro. Reasonable prices on the room and surrounding items such as groceries and food. I plan to visit the Carlyle again as soon as I can. Family friendly 100%.

Nice Hotel on Embassy Row
Nice Art Deco style hotel off Embassy Row in Dupont Circle. Location is a bit farther from the Dupont Circle fountain or Metro stop that was alluded too. Had a kitchenette in the room, but didn't use. Air Conditioning kept room quite cold. Water pressure in the shower was non-existant.

Fantastic Labor Day in DC
Free parking in downtown DC (first come, first serve), perfect location, kitchenette, duvet covers, stylish art-deco room and furniture, very friendly staff. Beds are comfortable, but sleeper sofa could be better. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Carlyle.

I love a u nanny
First trip to Washington
Great hotel. Stayed with my teenage granddaughter & it was perfect for us. Kitchenette was great to have. Local supermarket just around the corner. Metro just up the road. Easy access to everything. Felt very safe day & night. Nothing I would change other than the room could have been a little bit bigger. Beds really comfortable. Although this was my first visit to Washington I felt quite at home. I look forward to my next visit & will stay here again.

D.C. Hotel Close to Great Connections
Hotel was spacious, very friendly staff; located close to DuPonte Circle Metro stop and one block from great restaurants, bars and Safeway. Their Bar was the only thing that was over priced. Staff was exceptional and the neighborhood was very peaceful.

Great Hotel
This was a great hotel at a great price although not the most modern it was very charming.The rooms were very clean and the staff went above and beyond to make our trip perfect.The location was great, close to Dupont metro, but if you like to walk you could also walk to the White House and the museums. Parking was the only problem although free it was very limited. This is a great neighborhood where we felt safe even walking at night. I would without a doubt stay here again.

Good room and location
The hotel is located a couple of blocks form Dupont Circle for easy access to the Metro and there are plenty of good restaurants withing walking distance. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was friendly. Having a small kitchenette was nice for an extended stay though we didn't use it. Everything appeared in working order. The only thing I would warn against is the free parking that is in the listing. They have about 20 spots at the hotel and if you don't get one, you have to park on the street between 6p and 9a or find a meter/parking garage for the day. The parking is first come, first serve and the best advice I was given was to go and check the lot occasionally and hope someone is leaving/has left. As this was one of the main reasons we booked - free parking in DC - we were not pleased. the hotel did apologize and after we checked in had a bottle of wine and other niceties waiting for us in our room.
