Ski weekend

The loft room is very roomy, perfect for our family. The only drawback was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, the kids ended up sleeping on the floor. Location, pool and hot tub are unbeatable. Quiet and comfortable.

No Frills - Good Location

This Hotel is dated on the interior by about 10-20 years. So you will get old style TV's and rooms decorations are getting long on the tooth. However the best part about Hotel is location and the fact you can jump on the gondola to get to skiing immediately. The staff was friendly and restaurant was decent.

Great spot in Winter Park

I love the location. Even though i was scared driving up the mountain to get there (I'm from Florida so i'm not use to mountains at all) once you are there it was good. The rooms are great for what they are needed for; shower and sleep. The village closes a bit early for my taste but after snowboarding and skating all day we were dead tried so its nice to get on the little gandola and head back to the room. Its like you are close enough to the craziness but just far away to relax and get away. I will for sure be going back next year.

Great location

Can't beat the location, gondola to the park is just across the parking lot. The pool was closed the first night but open the second, which was a little disappointing. The restaurant was closed as well and the arcade was skimpy at best, so there wasn't much 'to do' in the hotel itself; however it's a quick ride the winter park which has everthing you need; just be ready to pay top dollar for it all.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Bring food with you to save some money. Eating every meal in the park will get expensive and the rooms have kitchenettes to might as well take advantage.

Almost perfect for the price!!!

Very fast check in process. Went for the Winter park Jazz festival so we didn't spend a whole lot of time in our room but it would of been nice to have a refrigerator so we could of stored our food that we took for our weekend trip (especially since they didn't offer continental breakfast) and updated TV-flat screen. Beds were comfortable and we weren't able to adjust our thermostat, luckily the temp wasn't too bad in there and it was a fairly nice, cool weekend. One of the screens on the windows was missing so we couldn't open it. Good view of the pool and hot tub but very loud as we could easily hear the other guests enjoyin themselves in the early morning when we were tryin to sleep in a little. There was a questionalbe charge when we checked out from the resturant /bar from when my boyfirend and his friend went to have a couple drinks the night before. They said they paid cash and she charged a couple of drinks to the room. She wasn't available to talk w/ the next day about it because they were closed. The lady who checked us out was kind of rude about the whole situation and pretty much said that the staff wouldn't have made that mistake and we had to pay it so we did because we didn't want the hassle but it was $15 for 2 shots (we left the tip on there $3).

Good location

Average hotel - nothing fancy. A refrigerator would be nice. The location is far enough out of town to stay out of the "rush" but close enough get there in 5 minutes or less. The hotel is good for a few days, but it gets very noisy. Don't know if the walls are thin or people are just loud. There is so much space under the door that light shines right in...we had to cover it with pillows.
