Just a few complaints...

My family of three has stayed at this hotel twice now both in season and off season. We find the location super convenient, esp. having a 6 year old who hates walking far. We also love the outdoor hot tub. However, here's our first complaint - on our last stay, they started hoarded towels in the lobby at the hotel ACROSS the street. Of course, you don't realize this until you're IN the hot tub and looking for a towel to dry off with. I have no idea what the point of this is, esp. as they don't TELL you this, have signs up, etc. I thought this was ridiculous. Second, the pillows in our room were completely horrid. It was like sleeping on a bag of 40-year-old cotton balls (lumpy!), with the bag being only half full at most. As a result, none of us slept well, and we will be bringing our own pillows on our next trip. Would we stay there again? Yes, we would, but we would do so with these issues in mind.

Meh

I was there in the mud season so there may be a difference in peak season. Pros: Great location Staff was friendly enough Cons: It was a cross between a condo and a hotel with neither of the advantages. The room was not cleaned while we were there and about half of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. The blankets were pretty warn out and that cheap thick velvet like material you find in motels.

We Recommend This Place

This is a nice condo development. Very convenient to the ski village/lifts at Winter Park. Nicely appointed, spacious, clean room; very helpful, courteous staff. Only complaint would be that the bed and pillows were hard.

Perfect Getaway

The accommodations were perfect. I was looking for a comfortable and efficient place with a kitchenette. The one-bedroom King room was perfect. I was there during off season and there was only one other party in the hotel so if you're looking to getaway and have a lot of privacy, this is a nice choice.

Great family weekend

We stayed from Saturday to Monday and it was perfect. The room was great; it was in the best location right on the same level as the hot tub. We could walk to all the restaurants and to the chair lift. They had ski lockers for each room which is just what you need at a ski resort. The only slight complaint we'd have is that the people above us were spring breakers and were very loud for a short period of time. The rooms could definitely have some sound proofing especially with people walking around in ski boots. We'd definitely stay again though.
