Exactly What We Needed

We do not spend a lot of time in our hotel so this was perfect. Clean rooms, friendly staff, hot coffee (and cider and cocoa) in the lobby. Wish we had known there was a microwave in the lobby for guest use but otherwise it was great!

Good for the price

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night while skiing at Steamboat. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean and reasonably quiet - a good value. Would stay here again.

Decent, cheap hotel

This hotel was fine for a weekend if you're looking to stay overnight and get two days of skiing at Steamboat. I was disappointed with their very restrictive pet policy however and the lack of a true (read: complimentary) continental breakfast.

2012 Hunt

Fair price for what we got. 2 rooms, 6 people. left hotel every morning about 5am for hunt. Lobby didnt open until 7am, so no coffee or access to microwave to heat breakfast.

not great

room was way too small, pool was across parking lot,staff was alof did not seem they had time for guests. would not return.

Good Value

Perfect for a weekend stay, priced for a good value, place was tidy and geared toward families. When you are spending all your time outside, this place is a nice affordable place to crash at night!

Walk across the street...in the Holiday Inn Rex's American Grill is handy for a beer, sandwich, or pizza.

Nothing Special, But Great for a Cheap Stay for Ski Weekend!

Steamboat Hotel is a basic, no-frills hotel. It is a good place for a cheap stay. The rooms are clean, decent and contain the basic amenities you expect from a hotel. If you're looking for a comfy hotel for a long vacation, look elsewhere. Nothing special, but I would recommend for a quick, cheap stay.

Not Bad

This hotel was fine for the amount of time we spent in the room. We mainly needed someplace clean and quiet - since we werent in the room very much. We went to Steamboat to snowmobile and be outside most of the time. The bathroom walls were cracking around the tub and the water didnt drain good. Needs a little work and they did'nt wash the coffee maker out from the day before - gross
