Stay and play in downtown Denver where contemporary meets pop culture
Creativity with a healthy dose of pop culture puts a playful spin on business events and adds spunk to leisure trips. Guests entering the lively lobby of The Curtis are greeted by televised cartoons and the Five & Dime store offers relics from the past to elicit nostalgic smiles. This downtown hotel, where the most miniscule details have been amped up to offer a one-of-a-kind Denver experience, also offers superb meeting and event facilities with an event manager. The Curtis Hotel is not just a place to stay--it is a place to experience.
Highlights
  • Impromptu hula hoop contests and Guitar Hero tournaments on the Wii in the lobby
  • Wake-up calls from Elvis, Yoda or Austin Powers
  • The Corner Office, an on-site retro-style eatery open for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Superb meeting and event facilities with onsite event manager
Rooms

The Curtis offers 13 themed floors with 336 contemporary guest rooms and two suites for the traveler ready to work and play. Flat-screen TVs and iPod speaker systems put entertainment at your fingertips. Pets are welcome (fees apply).

Features

The central downtown Denver location and stylish rooms at The Curtis offer a fresh stay. Amenities include a large desk, coffee maker for the necessary java jolt, free wireless Internet access and a flat-screen TV. Guests who prefer an office environment can head to the business center. Meeting rooms are whimsically named with decor that adds creativity to conferences and brainstorming sessions. Creative meeting planners can forget floral centerpieces in lieu of fixtures like Battleship, Connect4 and KerPlunk! which are only for use during breaks, of course.

Perfect location and fun!

Went to see a show at Symphony Hall and it just couldn't have been easier. Got ready at Curtis, went and ate at Office Bar, got tickets at will call, went back to hotel to put coats away and walked leisurely back to the show. Then after show walked to 16th for late night festivities. Then back to comfy bed and a good night's sleep. Thanks!

came for a wedding

perfect location for those on foot like us. we walked everywhere and this hotel is in the heart of Denver without having to pay a hefty price. the staff was so friendly and so helpful, they really seemed to enjoy their jobs. the free wireless was very nice too. my only jab at the hotel is that the curtains didn't close totally which let in sunlight way too early. So I had to use a hairclip to hold the curtains closed. Other than that, which is very minor, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

use mass transit from the airport to hotel, will only cost $11 on RTD bus and it drops you off on the 16th mall which is a hop, skip, & jump from the hotel. A taxi will cost you over $55 and shuttles around $22.

The Curtis Hotel - Great location

I used the business center everyday and had the breakfast buffet daily. For a buffet, a pretty good selection. The rooms were comfortable, but the one drawback was that there was no drapey over the sheer. The bed headboard and window were in alignment, which allowed the sun or light to hit your head/face very early in the morning.

The hotel is 2 blocks from the 16th Street Pedistrian Mall, which itself is about 14 blocks long with numerous restaurants, shops, banks, movie theaters, and street performers. So much to do with not enough time to do it all, so choose wisely.

very disappointed

we were supposed to have a corner room with two windows, a view, refrigerator etc. for our $200/night room. We did get a room but not what was confirmed with our [...] reservation. Instead we had a room that was facing a building(not what I call a view) through our dirty single window. The second night our room was missing clean glasses and soap. One lamp shade is torn...I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel manager told me he was going to refund me the first night and reduce the rate for the remaining 2 nights to $169/night from the original price [...] of $200/night. I have not seen an email confirming this from [...] the Curtis Hotel. The manager's name I dealt with is [...]. I await a reply. Thanks
