A recent $25-million dollar (USD) renovation led to upgrades across rooms, suites and meeting places, bringing the hotel back to the elite tier in Denver lodging. Guests rave about the heated rooftop pool with its amazing views of the rugged Rocky Mountains and bustling downtown.

Warwick Denver Hotel

Excellent "old style, full service" hotel. Expensive parking (only available is valet at $26/nite, plus $10 charge for each in/out). City parking garage next door at ~$15/day but also an in/out charge. No microwave, no refrigerator (as I said, "old style/full service"). No music in room (only the standard, mundane/boring TV channels - nothing special of any kind). Room service always available but $$ as would be expected. Free wifi net. Despite initial comments about $$ and parking, excellent room and service. Four short-block walk to top of 16th St Mall (any food, bar, pub, etc. that can be imagined)and the N end of the free mall shuttle - convenient.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

I called it a "short walk" of 4-5 blocks to the free shuttle (busses) that travel up and down the 16th Street mall where dining of just about any kind is available. During afternoon business hours busses were (no kidding!) no more than 2-3 minutes apart. Easy to get on and off at every block along the 16th Street Mall.

An excellent choice

I was in Denver on business, and didn't leave the hotel often. So the facts that the restaurant and bar were nice places to unwind, the staff were very helpful, and I could print for free in the business center were great. It was an easy walk to the 16th Street Mall and to some funky local coffee shops and restaurants in the other direction. I didn't get the chance to check out the fitness center or the pool.

Super classy & convenient

The staff knew the area so that was helpful. The hotel rooms are HUGE, the open air penthouse pool was beautiful & warm & Randolph's has some pretty darn good food, as well. It is a fun & eclectic neighborhood w nice restaurants (& a couple of dive bars thrown in), a cool gourmet grocery store that was fun to peruse & decent parking everywhere (but be sure to keep the meters fed as they are serious about checking them). Another thing to note is that it is a 5 minute walk from downtown so that's pretty awesome, too. We were in town on a sad occasion & The Warwick was a comfortable sanctuary for us.

Randolph's has some food & happy hour drinks worth sticking around for. Grab a couple of margaritas there w some of their "signature salad" & a bowl of the chipotle soup before you head out & you won't be sorry.

Pretty and cozy place to stay in Denver

The reason we chose this hotel was close to Fillmore Auditorium, which STS9 played NYE live concert in Denver. I found this hotel on Trip Adviser by searching 4-5 star rated room and our whole trip was very comfortable. This hotel is located in kind of out of central downtown but still easy to access various places in Denver DT. Its room is quiet enough and hotel property is good too. However, the only complaint was that a rental microwave costs $15/night is toooo expensive. (I'd go buy new one for $24 at Walmart!!) Anyway, I would recommend everyone to stay here.
