Great Visit to Denver

We stayed at the Brown Place for 5 nights on a recent business trip.We try to stay in local/historic/unique hotels when we travel to a new city. I booked the Superior King which w/our little girl proved to be too small.Moved us to a dual Queen that had more room for a busy 2 yr. old. Bathrooms are large. House keeping staff were terrific. Our daughter thought that Oran was a Prince :)I thought it was interesting that in-room internet was $11/day but, we didn't take our laptops so it didn't matter. Great people, great hotel, great area. Do yourself right and spend a few nights here. Our only issue had nothing to do w/the hotel but w/the shuttle service we used, Big Sky, do not use them.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There are a ton of local establishments in the area. The following eateries are great; Mici, Intermission, Sam's #3 and Hamburger Mary's. Go up 17th to the city park. Along the way there are plenty of eating places.

Excellent hotel with ambiance

The only problem is I didn't have printer that worked in the room. There was no printer cable to interface with my computer, but there was a printer. Also, I love to swim to relax after a flight and there was no pool or ability to go to a spa to swim.
