Very cheap, rundown, no feeling of safety

Very rundown, heavily worn furniture, stained sheets. No AC in rooms until summer. Outdated hotel. The doors of the hotel were always left wide open during the night. The locks on my door did not work. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

I do not recommend

Our room was in the "back" building like a motel. The room smelled. The bathroom was dirty. The water left a bad after-taste, and bottled water was not available to buy. (We had to walk across the street to the gas station). The breakfast room was cramped, steamy, and felt dirty. There was lots of black dirt/mold in the corners of the rooms and wallpaper peeling off - in the main building and in our room. The workout room was gross - dried sweat on the machines. I tried out the elliptical without touching anything (gross), and it shook like it was going to fall apart. It would barely be worth $49/night. I felt like we got robbed paying $99/night. It was gross.

Run down

Our room reeked of smoke & bleach & cleaning spray. The staff couldn't be bothered to look up or smile at check in or check out. The overall feel and appearance of the hotel is run down & dingy. Definitely over priced and yucky!

Good hotel at an affordable price.

I would recommend this hotel, if you don't want to spend much and want to live close to the city.

Old, dank and not very clean.

The 'kid' who checked me in barely took off his headphones. The hotel lobby and hallway was dark, the elevator filthy and the room didn't smell nice. I went back out and could have walked in with a shotgun because he never even looked up. The sheets were worn through-I mean holes in them! The bathroom had hair in the sink, towels that should have been retired years ago and it was not a comfortable stay. I cancelled my last night there.

good location

The Hotel is near the interstate and downtown, we could walk into downtown for New Years eve celebration The place should be cheaper priced. Its one of those places that was a 30$ Motel a few years back, then The Wyndham Group got a hold of it, changed the bed and the TV, gave it a (lousy) paint job and more then doppelt the price, is it worth it? judge for yourself, I do expect a little more from an 80 $ hotel

Worst Hotel I've stayed in in years

It's absurd to call this a 3-star hotel. Old, dirty, dilapidated property with cigarette-scarred room with non-working phone (I finally giggled the wires enough to get it to work briefly). Peeling wallpaper in bathroom and mold in shower. Iron but no ironing board. Noisy location, indifferent staff (of one). Another guest checking out with me said his lamp didn't work and when he plugged it into another outlet the plug exploded and tripped a breaker. He threw his key on the desk and stomped out. Lady serving breakfast was nice and food was ok. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Heat worked. But bottom line, basically this place is a dump and should be taken off your list or shown as a 0-star hotel.

It's under renovation, and it was not mentioned....

I feel I overpaid, just in view of the fact that I did not know it was being remodeled. O should have stated that. I would like some refund because I feel I've been tricked. In addition, the shower tub was not draining fast enough.

?

the first room we got was supposed to be non-smoking, but it seemed a guest had smoked something pretty bad in there. The second room we got was very nice and even had a refrigerator in it.
