Great location and superior value in the heart of Denver
This wallet-friendly hotel is situated in Denver's historic Capitol Hill district, known by locals as the home of small music venues, new restaurants and interesting architecture. No skyscrapers here, but the State Capitol, Courthouse and urban residences make for an interesting, diverse neighborhood, complete with urban dining and entertainment minus the tourist-trap feel. Audiophiles love the location, too, which is just across the street from the Fillmore Auditorium and an easy walk to the Paramount Theatre, Ogden Theatre and Bluebird Theatre.

was a very dump old hotel for the money
Walls are paper thin, non-smoking rooms smell like smoke, the fitness center had nothing to offer, all in all the place was quite the dump. Knowing what i know now, I would not stay at this property again.

Decent place to crash
Location was perfect for what we were looking for. However, AC/HEAT unit not working (we just opened the window) hair dryer did not work (they brought us another one). PLENTY of hot water for showers. Remote control did not work to shut off TV.

I arrived, checked in as planned. The place was impressive. The people(Staff) were very nice and professional. The room was very clean, I was very comfortable. I rested well . They offer free high speed internet wifi at this Hotel location. I planned my car rental from here. My experience was awesome. I will surely come back next time. I recommend this place for anyone. Wonderful staff!
I had a quick stay here after flying in late for business, so I didn't get to enjoy much of the hotel. However, I did get upgraded to a suite upon check-in, and the staff that I interacted with were incredibly friendly!

Good for some
Overall good experience. Rooms nice, people friendly, great price. The location was interesting. Colfax is a little rough and I'm not sure I'd want to be walking around at night but literally one block over it transitions to nice area. So, I think it is fine but if you want to move at night you may need to cab. I walked downtown a lot..... about 15-20minute walk. So, for price its good deal depending on what your looking for and who you are bringing (kids and such).

Great Deal in a Great part of the City
This somewhat funky part of Denver is very convenient to the downtown mall and has many surrounding amenities including some great hole in the wall dining such as D.P. Dough nearby. The staff were great during the big blizzard and the room was very cozy.

it's ok
stayed two nights at the hotel. room is clean and staff is friendly. next room neighbours were real loud and we could here each word quite well....someone kicked the door at 5:00a.m. it was a shock wake up...there is not a minibar in the room but according to price this hotel is ok....

Expecting Visitors
Is this my room? Whose room is this?
When I first checked in I was pretty excited because I got upgraded to a suite. I went to my room and it looked like someone had already had a good time in the bed so I booked it back to the front desk to tell them I was guessing the people probably didn't want a third party. They gave me keys to a new suite and when I got there luckily it was ready to go. The place looks dated but for the price I was okay with it. The next day I was coming back to my room and a guy walking in front of me started to put a key into my door. I said, excuse me sir this is my room the guy told me the employee up front had told him to go down there and check it out. Needless to say after both experiences I bolted my door and made sure my pajamas were appropriate for company if someone else should decide walk in.
