Convenient Location; Cheap, Close to Downtown
The LaQuinta Inn Denver: affordable and adequate. It is a very adequate motel. Lots of conveniences like free wifi, nice desk to work from and a pool. They had vacancies when I was in a pinch at the DNC convention in Denver and the staff was very accommodating. The area is convenient with some food and a Starbucks close and a short cab ride into downtown or Pepsi Center. But it is also on the edge of somewhat dicey neighborhood. Nice play to stay if you need to stay close to downtown and you want to do it inexpensively.

Starbucks across the street; Dominos a football throw away if you need some late night food. And a short cab ride will take you into the heart of Denver.

Stay and Enjoy!
La Quinta is located close to Coors Field in Denver. That made it an easy choice to avoid parking headaches to get to the Rockies game. We just walked 10 minutes and we were from our room to our seats at the game! There are railroad tracks just a block away, but it didn't seem to be noisy at night. We've taken this trip to Denver before and have always stayed at La Quinta Denver Central.

good hotel but far from downtown
I was in Denver to attend a conference in downtown. I liked the hotel because it had free wifi and a decent breakfast (with fresh fruits). The room was clean. I didn't like the fact that it was a 30 min walk from downtown (16th street shopping). The staff was friendly.

Clean and comfortable
This hotel is not a five-star hotel by any means, but it was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located minutes from downtown Denver. The rooms are decent sized and surprisingly quiet. The outdoor pool was nice and staff was very friendly. There is free breakfast that is just so-so, but it works. The rooms do have outside entrances.
