La Quinta Inn Denver Central

Clean and organized. Offers the necessary, no luxury. Great location, very close to downtown and expressway.

I stayed at this La Quinta two years before and had a good experience. This visit again provided a good night's rest that is close to Denver downtown and area activities, but without the walking-distance price premium. I was in Denver for four days work and had to travel north two evenings, so I wasn't concerned about being able to walk everywhere. The first night I booked at another national brand hotel and that turned out to be a disaster, no rest all night. I tried this La Quinta again and was very satisfied, clean, quiet (even though right next to freeway) room, decent breakfast, and downtown in a few minutes. The restaurant next door was recommended as good, but I could not get service there; they are very disorganized.

Staff was excellent. Good restaurants within walking distance. Close to downtown. Bus stop next to Inn which made for easy commute to and from downtown area. Would definitely stay here on future visits to Denver.

The room was very clean as was the grounds. The staff was very friendly & immediately help with an overflowing toilet. The temp was in the single digits but yet the rooms were very warm & comfortable before we even turned on the heat...actually we never turned on the heat during the night. Although this has no reflection on the motel...the store next door (as in many other places) has bums hanging out front.

The hotel itself wasn't that bad but the location is horrible. I would have never stayed there if I had known there was a train yard about 50 yards behind the hotel. Would have gladly payed a little more to stay somewhere else. I had a horrible time trying to sleep.

it was more of a motel than a hotel. the room was nicley furnished, but to the smaller side, and the air was very stuffy. the staff was very nice. the location was perfect.

The interior is definitely nicer than the exterior. Nice new Samsung 32" flat screen TV. Nice decor. Room appeared clean. My only complaint was the noise. The walls are thin and you're right next to the highway. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend.

Just a bad experience!! It was in a slummy part of the city. Our room door was hanging open when we got back from the city because the lock was busted. The pictures and descriptions make it look much different!

The rooms were pretty clean and orderly and the staff was extremely friendly, however, the location is horrible. It's right off the freeway, near a liquor store and bar which contributed to people drinking and chatting in the parking lot after hours. Unfortunately, our room was on the first floor, next to the freeway and facing the parking lot. Not great at all but we couldn't get another room unless we were willing to trade our king for two twins! Will not be staying here again.
