too expensive for nothing special

the hotel was very expensive, it should be less expensive and have a shuttle to the airport.

no on site restaurant. broken elevator. kitchen fire in closed restaurant. fire alarm going off in rooms continually after fire. construction in small lobby. walking thru debri everyday to get outside. none of this was disclosed to us. you need to let patrons know restaurant is closed and it is under construction. you dropped the ball . we book thru you often and find this unacceptable.

Inconsistent

Known for its superior customer service, I found some staff to be very helpful, however, inattentiveness of greeters at door to be quite off putting. This inconsistency in service was a negative for me. In fact, the level of service was equitable to that of the average Vegas hotel. Orbitz's deal was amazing. I stayed 8 nights. Would recommend asking for a higher floor, at least 4 or above to avoid the street noise. Top floor has balconies, however, they are all connected by a common walkway, not too private. The hotel shuttle (suv that can take you around downtown) is a nice perk.

Very fine hotel- Teatro

I had a very nice stay at the Teatro from 6/22- 6/23. The hotel was old, but very updated. The staff was efficient. The room was comfortable and the bed was very roomy.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

You will need to decide whether to park in a lot nearby or in a garage a block away. Thel ot nearby is fine, but unprotected. The garage is protected and the staff will bring your car to you when you need it.

Teatro

Great Hotel in a Great Location. Only issues during our stay was the first room we were assigned was very cold and had a loud air system outside. The next morning we asked and were assigned to a different and great new room at no charge. The staff was very accommodating.

Business Trip

I was there for a Convention and happened to select Hotel Teatro just because it had a competitive price when compared to other downtown hotels and was just a couple of blocks from the Denver Convention Center. However, I thought my selection worked out really great! The Hotel was great, rooms were really nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is located in the art district and is a very short walk from 16th street mall which is the shopping and dinning hub of Denver downtown.

Denver Delight

Staff will bend over backwards to take care of your needs. Room on the small side but very tastful: we stayed on the 9th floor w/balcony, other floors have larger rooms. Great beds and linens. Bathroom lighting could be improved and counter in bath is high. Resturant Kevin Taylor is VERY pricey.

Check out the 16th St. Mall and Larimar Square. Cute and trendy local shops on Larimar. Try Eve. Great dining within walking distance. The Broker, The Palm, Sam's Diner-breakfast.

would stay again

Great location - just blocks from the convention center, the 16th street mall & LoDo. Helpful & friendly staff. Parking is overpriced though - you can find parking lots that are less expensive (although they aren't covered). Great shower and super comfortable bed. I stayed in a superior queen and it was spacious...plenty of room for clothes & suitcase. Free wireless internet which is unusual according to my colleagues who stayed at other hotels and had to pay. 2 icky things- there was leftover cake in the fridge from the previous occupant and there was a used razor in the shower as well.

Artsy and Attractive

Very nice Hotel, and very aggressively staffed with helpful people. The Bar could have stayed open a little longer and the food was a bit ritzy for my simple tastes but was good.
