lovely hotel

My husband an I traveled to Denver for the first time and stayed at Teatro. The location was amazing we had no idea what to expect and were delightfully surprised. Rooms were lovely and much larger than a 'standard' hotel. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. The only downside was that we could hear lots of traffic noise. I would recommend this hote and woud absolutely stay here again.

Well located, great room

Hotel was well-located, staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a few minor issues (tv didn't work, water on the floor in the bathroom upon check in), but the staff addressed, or at least tried to address, immediately. Would certainly consider staying here again.

Close to perfect

Hotel Teatro is comfortable: luxurious without being pretentious. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. A bit small, but I could've paid more, and the hotel is downtown. The complimentary car service, bike rental (again, complimentary), and guest service are fantastic and set this place apart. I will be back next time I'm in Denver.

Great Hotel for the night

We wanted a night out downtown, so booked at Hotel Teatro. The location is perfect to get to any of the restaurants or main attractions of downtown. The rooms were small and a bit noisy, but fully updated with great amenities and VERY clean. The staff was friendly, especially the valet staff. Would definitely recommend. Larimer Street restaurants are just 2 blocks away !

no on site restaurant. broken elevator. kitchen fire in closed restaurant. fire alarm going off in rooms continually after fire. construction in small lobby. walking thru debri everyday to get outside. none of this was disclosed to us. you need to let patrons know restaurant is closed and it is under construction. you dropped the ball . we book thru you often and find this unacceptable.

Not for Light Sleepers

Although I liked this little hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful, the street noise kept me up at all hours of the day and night. We had a lovely 4th floor Superior King room (junior suite) on the Northwest corner facing 14th street with one side window towards the Larimar Square area. Little did we know that there would be drag-racing and motorcycle rallies on the streets outside at all hours during out three night stay. This wasn't just a weekend thing. The staff explained that those very large windows were the original 100 year old single-pane windows which supposedly could not be replaced due to historic concern (although nothing should have prevented them form being able to add sound-proof glazing from the inside). Our side window also overlooked the hotel dumpster and the noise that t made, too. The good side was the large bathroom with the super-sized tub and large walk-in shower. I spent a lot of time in there to avoid the engine revving and tire pealing that could be heard in my room. Another good thing was the strength of the free WIFI signal. They offer free newspapers that everyone seems to reject because who reads a news paper any more? The valet parking is cheap at only $16.00 a night. There is no breakfast offered in this hotel, although there is a pay coffee stand in the lobby. They give you a couple of Keurig capsules and a machine that you have to carry into the bathroom every time you want to make a cup. The closet were surprisingly small considering we were in a suite I'd say that this hotel has more appeal to a younger hip per crowd, or maybe to business travelers who can afford to stay on the top floor away from the traffic noise.

Night in Denver

We went to Denver and stayed at the teatro. The location is the best! Around the corner from larimer square...shops and restaurants. Only thing is it was under construction.. Not too bad but the bar I liked was no longer there. This is a great hotel in downtown.

Teatro

Great Hotel in a Great Location. Only issues during our stay was the first room we were assigned was very cold and had a loud air system outside. The next morning we asked and were assigned to a different and great new room at no charge. The staff was very accommodating.
