Convenient and Comfortable

This was a short stop overnight before flying out of DIA and it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was close to the downtown 16th street walking mall. We had a great night eating at a local restaurant and then listening to music in a local club.

Great Location, Good Price

Nice and clean rooms with a great view. The location was unbeatable -- within walking distance of 16th Street Mall, all kinds of shops, great nightlife, and even Coors Field (if you enjoy walking, like me). There was generally on street parking, too, which, at $1 an hour, beat paying for some of the garages in the area. (I drove around the city quite a bit, so I wasn't parking all day at the meter.)

Amazing Weekend

Great experience at the hotel. Extremely friendly staff, excellent location, and great rooms. Attending a wedding reception at the Pinnacle Club in the hotel which was amazing. The hotel is located about 2 blocks off of the 16th Street Mall which is a very lively shopping and dining area. I would definitely stay here again.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Hop on the free 16th Street mall shuttle bus to make the walk to Coors Field much shorter and less expensive than a cab fare!

Hotel Great! Bar - not so good!

The hotel was awesome! Don't stop at the bar for a drink after a long day. I asked the bartender what was on special for happy hour ... he said, "EVERYTHING!" I ordered an apple martini and had to pay $13! That's not a special! And the menu listed it for $12. Crazy!

Not-so-Grand Hyatt

The room was not clean when we walked into the room. There were tissues and beer bottle tops on the floor, as well as a woman's make-up accessory. This made me worried about the sheets. There were not enough outlets in the room, I had to charge my cell phone in the bathroom since the outlet closest to my bed was behind the TV. Also, for the money I paid for this hotel I would assume there would be wi-fi included, which was not the case. There was a separate fee for both wireless and hardline internet. Another negative was there was no coffee bar or continental breakfast. These are included in cheap motels! So I assumed a so-called "service hotel" would have these amenities automatically included. One more downside was there was not shuttle for that hotel. You had to get a third party shuttle service. While waiting for a shuttle I noticed many other hotels in the downtown Denver area has shuttles, just not my hotel. Overall I disliked my experienced and will not stay at that place again.
