Get what you pay for
Adequate. Thin walls, could hear everything next door, including talking, bathroom noises, etc--the entire night. Breakfast is meager, free wi-fi is a nice perk. Minimal amenities in room, like no alarm clock and very basic TV, but what can you expect for a discount hotel in a major city.

I stayed at this EconoLodge for 3 nights and did not get a decent night's sleep on any one of them. The motel is located on a very busy main street (Colfax Ave, US 40), near several large bars and concert halls. The continental breakfast consisted of a few packaged sweet rolls and muffins, some questionable fruit, and some toast or bagels. The room itself was OK, but the TV reception was poor and only a few local stations came in clearly.

nothing fancy
ok for a single traveler, not enough parking if you get in late, will not impress your wife or girlfreind but the price for this area is reasonable, was about a mile and a half walk to coors field or walk to 16th st. free shuttle to blake st. to save on parking at game 30 to 50 dollars

Visiting Denver
Hotel was in a great location as I needed to be downtown. Room was average but clean. Wi Fi was out my 3 day stay so no internet. Is close to the capital and lots of restaurants close by.

Econo Lodge near Ogden Theater
Came up for a show at the Ogden. Great location. Nothing special about the hotel. Staff was friendly enough. Room a little rundown. I'd stay there again for the location but can't recommend it for anyone looking for someplace nice.

The price is right
Room was clean, the price was right. The access card was not working for the first night and the room had to be unlocked every time by the staff, but the inconvenience was pretty minor.

Econo Lodge
The reviews stated that the Econo Lodge was downtown. It was not downtown, it was in an area called up-town. After 2:00 a.m., when the Odgen Theater lets out, everyone hangs out next to the 7-11 and people are running up and down the stairs. The food and nail shops in the area are great! But, it was not a three star hotel the way it was rated and not close to downtown.

Loud and Noisy
The West side of this hotel overlooks a patio bar that's VERY LOUD! The East side overlooks the 7-11 where the gangs and homeless hang out. The Filmore was having a show ... a bunch of tween goth punks lined the street to get in and hung out in front all night. Pretty bad neighborhood. Street noise is also pretty bad, even from the 4th floor. Wouldn't stay here again on a bet.

Very economical hotel
Almost everything was fine. But my room was very, very dimly lit - in fact, there were only two lamps in the room. This made it very difficult to use my computer and to work in the room. It also made the room look a little depressing. Secondly, the internet connection is very unreliable - this problem should be addressed.

In the city for a conference at the convention center
I liked the price. Everything was serviceable. Accommodations were modest but adequate. Twenty minute walking distance to the convention center.
