Downtown Hotel

Small rooms, but very convenient location. There is an Irish Pub north of the inn, and a Gay Bar south. There is a bike share just down the side street. The staff was pleasant albeit stern. We had a great time here. I would not recommend this hotel for children, but an adult or two is fine.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a bike share down Ogden St. If you leave the hotel lobby, make a right on Colfax, then a right on Ogden, and the bike share is at the next intersection.

great place to stay in an interesting part of town

Good bargain. The neighborhood is a bit seedy and their is a bar next door that gets loud until around 1 PM at night. But it is located downtown and the good bad and ugly of any downtown area is represented right around this hotel. Restaurants, bars, cafes, pot shops, hipsters, young professionals, gay people, and the homeless all seem to come together right around this hotel.

Worst shower ever!

The location was great. Walking distance to many downtown activities. Old building with outdoor entrances. A little noisy, but that is to be expected off colfax. Shower was just a dribble of water. Just awful.

Good for the money

It's a pretty standard motel. It's about a mile from downtown, which makes for a long walk, but there is also a bus right there and a B-cycle stand a block away. On my side, the gay bar next door blasted outdoor karaoke in the evening, but the walls are thick so I still slept through it. The breakfast is mediocre and sugary but not horrible: Waffles, bagels, muffins, sweetened cereal, oatmeal, bananas.

Awful hotel

I was in Denver for a weekend to visit a friend at a conference downtown. The hotel has a great location, within walking distance of the sight downtown. But everything else is horrible. Parking is limited, and first come first serve. The room was filthy. Half the staff dont care. The other half are clueless. They locked a vital door to get from one side of the hotel to the other.

Right Where I Needed

I was in town for Pride and picked this location for this supreme proximity to the parade route and park as well as bars. The off street parking was good, so come early and don't move your car! The room was clean and quiet.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Right next door to Charlie's, X-Bar is just down the block, and Wrangler is a short safe walk up the streat. There are bus stops everywhere to take you anywhere.

Ok Hotel Scary Location

I did not feel safe in this location. We had someone try to get into our room by trying to trick my daughter into opening the door. Their was loud partying going on very close to us so I did not get any sleep and there are a LOT of weird people (tweekers) that hang around the place. Will never stay there again. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

Great economy hotel

The location is very good. You can walk down to the capitol (in about 20min), and then take the 16th St. FreeRide. The staff was incredibly friendly. It is an economy hotel, so you have to take it like that. While the location is good the room is a little bit noisy (firefighter trucks go through the street and you hear it is all). Overall I am very happy to had stayed there.
