Day's Inn Denver

One of the less expensive motels, within a mile of the Convention Center. The staff is extremely helpful. There is no computer terminal to do your e-mail/bookings but they do have WiFI. No pool, reck-room, spa or room frig. just a good bed, clean room. modest breakfast. Had some billing problems, but I think it wasn't their fault.

It's fine

No frills, but an ok place with friendly staff. I stayed here because I wanted something close to 16th street mall but not super pricey, and I was okay with walking a little bit to get there. Not a place where you'll want to spend much time in your room.

Bad Experieince

The hotel was so bad that I did not stay the two nights I booked. The hotel was being remodeled and was a mess. I will never, never book reservations here even when it is remodel. It is located in a bad part of town. Pictures and hotel description was incorrect.

creepy

The location was on the edge of a very questionable part of town. The pictures on the site are not accurate. The motel charges extra for safe box--even if you do not use it! The smoke detector was hanging off the wall (I took pictures) with the battery door removed. The bed and bedding was, um, not nice. I fell asleep to the rhythm of the bass from the bar down below. And worst of all, realized that booking through online booking company beginning with letter o cost me $40 more than if I had walked in off the street!!!

Get what you pay for

Adequate. Thin walls, could hear everything next door, including talking, bathroom noises, etc--the entire night. Breakfast is meager, free wi-fi is a nice perk. Minimal amenities in room, like no alarm clock and very basic TV, but what can you expect for a discount hotel in a major city.

not worth it

I stayed at this EconoLodge for 3 nights and did not get a decent night's sleep on any one of them. The motel is located on a very busy main street (Colfax Ave, US 40), near several large bars and concert halls. The continental breakfast consisted of a few packaged sweet rolls and muffins, some questionable fruit, and some toast or bagels. The room itself was OK, but the TV reception was poor and only a few local stations came in clearly.

nothing fancy

ok for a single traveler, not enough parking if you get in late, will not impress your wife or girlfreind but the price for this area is reasonable, was about a mile and a half walk to coors field or walk to 16th st. free shuttle to blake st. to save on parking at game 30 to 50 dollars

Visiting Denver

Hotel was in a great location as I needed to be downtown. Room was average but clean. Wi Fi was out my 3 day stay so no internet. Is close to the capital and lots of restaurants close by.
