Great Hotel for Business Functions

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
Staff wasn't very friendly and I was given a smoking room. I hate the cigarette smell but was tried to go back to the front desk and ask for a different room. I felt they gave me the worst possible room since I booked thru Orbitz at a discounted rate. Also, you can't cancel the room once you book it. I only noticed this after I checked-in. This was probably mentioned when I booked the room. I probably over looked it. Not sure...

Just OK
The location was Ok, it was what I expected. The room because it was an iside room was dark. The bathroom lighting was not good at all. Bed was very comfortable. Other than that it was avg at best

GREAT LOCATION!
It was a very nice hotel, but it is still having major renovations. There was only one working elevator which was annoying as well as the door cards (keys) that never worked and had to be changed out EVERY DAY!

Great for stay before early flight
The Holiday Inn Denver Airport was a good choice to stay the night before catching our early flight out of Denver the next day. Check-In was very easy and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but this did not cause us any problems. We ate at the in-house restaurant which was convenient for us. My wife and I stayed there with our twin 2-year olds. The hotel is definitely more geared toward the business traveler but we just needed a place close to the airport. Shuttle service the next day was prompt and friendly as well. I would stay here again if I travel to Denver.

room unsafe location for single woman
High, years ago when I was travelling on my own I was advised to never take a hotel room at the very very end of the hall, the furtherest from the elevator and especially isolated from view. Well that was exactly what I was given at the hotel. Not a good selection for me. I was so exhausted by the time I journeyed down the long airport and manouvered my way successfully to the hotel bus and up the steps with luggage to the hotel elevator that there was no way I was going back to the front desk to change the room location. It was by that time after 10pm and I was expecting the wakeup call by 4am. At the end of the long long hallway in the hotel there even was a 90 degree turn of the hallway to the entrance of my room. Definitely it was quiet but not a good location to find a single woman alone. Next time I will ask to see where the room is located before I agree to take it. It has been awhile since I traveled with a sleep over!

Great Hotel for your money!
I was very impressed with the Holiday Inn of Denver. It was very clean,and the waterfall in the lobby was very refreshing. The rooms were full of amenities and very comfortable.
