Much better choices for only a few bucks
We went down for a Nuggets game. 235 for a very small room with two doubles, the T.V was 20 years old with bad reception and no sleep timer. They have no valet, and charge you 18 bucks to park yourself about 5 minutes away. After a ten minute process checked us in to an all ready occupied room, the compensation for walking in on someone and wasting my time, two free buffets that we didn't use. Herd at least 5 fire or police cars and a train or two. O yeah the room smelled like old people and cats. If coming to Denver stay at the Brown palace, Ritz, Even the Warwick, BUT DON'T WASTE MORE THAN 79 DOLLARS TO STAY AT THE CROWN PALACE. TOM LUDWIG

Would not stay here again
Starting with parking rates ~$6 above average daily rate downtown ($18 vs. $12), we were disappointed with this hotel. No self-serve laundry was available (only expensive laundry service - not helpful for soiled toddler clothes). Surrounding hotels have indoor pools, but not this one, not even a hot tub or sauna to use in winter. The office area downstairs is next to the restaurant and main entrance and not enclosed, so not possible to work there (for example, if your family is sleeping.) Usually nice hotels have above average food, but we had breakfast there and thought it tasted totally average, think Denny's but for twice the price. Wait staff at restaurant were very nice, though. Room was very clean and nice, but they use really toxic smelling cleaning products, so we asked not to have room cleaned during our stay. Previously stayed at Hotel Teatro downtown (without family or car) which was a MUCH nicer experience. Would choose almost any downtown hotel over this one.

it was ok our flight was cancelled so we got there one day late. the front desk told us our reservation was cancelled then later said it wasn't cancelled but we lost a day which we still had to pay for.

Denver weekend
We loved our stay at the hotel. It was very close to the theater where we saw a show. The only complaint was that there were loud people in the room next to us until 3:30 a.m. It wasn't a loud party; they were just speaking loudly and enjoying themselves....

Great location and staff
Fantastic location - walking distance to 16th St mall, Convention Center, and Lightrail. Hotel was very clean, and had friendly staff. Great hotel for the price!

Weekend in Downtown Denver
I'm from DC and I went to visit downtown Denver for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend. The hotel is located next to lively downtown Denver. We went shopping, ate at several restaraunts and took advantage of cheap happy hours specials. The walls in our room were thin and we could hear the people next store fighting and cursing. The hotel was clean though and the staff was friendly.

Wonderful Service
Each time we entered the hotel we were offered help with services. When we needed directions, rides or just recomendations on food they were there to help. This was a great choice for my busineess trip and would recommend this place to friends and family. I look forward to going back.
