SHORT BUT GREAT VISIT
Good with the bad
The hotel looks from the outside and is priced like a high end hotel and the rooms are okay but they need to come into the 21st century - could use a refrigerator and a microwave - based on the large empty cabinet it once housed a refrigerator. No store or exercise area. It felt secure because the elevator required the room key - is needed because of all the homeless people sleeping outside on the sidewalk - and it was 6 degrees below zero. Good location - just a half mile from the DAM and a block from the Mall. The only major problem was with the Concierge - reserved a limo for 5 am but it was a no-show - ended up taking a taxi and almost missed my flight.

Just over a mile from Mile High Stadium - with views from the hotel and short walks to the Denver Art Museum, the Clyfford Still Museum and the Mall.

Not up to crown plaza standard
While room was updated, rug had stains and lighting was dark and dim. AC was motel noisy, elevators were s l o w even though there were 4. Had to use Key to run elevator. Not good with two coffee's that were expensive and not good. Needs help with b fast... Location was great. Typicay

Not a bad place for a business trip, but ...
The room was fine, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A good place for a business stay if you need to be near the Convention Center Especially for the price, though, the amenities were somewhat sparse, and the internet connection was a bit slow.

Long walk from hotel
One of the best independent bookstores in the USA, The Tattered Cover, is just a long walk down 16th Street (or a short ride on the free 16th Street Shuttle). If you're at all a book lover, The Tattered Cover is a "Don't Miss!" I'm a New Yorker, and it's better than any book store in NYC (excluding, maybe, The Strand, which sells only used books).

Thank you for a great stay during a business trip.
Everything was really good. The only disappointing thing was the water in the shower was not hot on our last two days. Otherwise, I would definately recommend this hotel & location to my friends. The Concierge (s) in particular were exceptional.

Colorado Lover
New Year's Downtown Denver
Great location! Reserve early and get room on 21st floor overlooking Sheraton rooftop where the fireworks are shot off. No hot tub at hotell :(
