BEST WESTERN PLUS Denver Hotel

We stayed here for two days on a business trip. The room was modern and more importantly, clean! If I wanted to nitpick the hotel, I would say that the pillows were too hard, the closet way too small (fine for a 1-2 day stay, 1-2 people), the bathroom fan obnoxiously loud (with no way to turn it off and have only the light on), the flat screen TV was mounted too low (unadjustable) and the channels didn't appear to be in HD, the "free" (included in the price of the room) Wi-Fi was ridiculously slow, the gym equipment was clanky and/or non-functional and finally, access to the hotel is not ideal (We took the shortcut through the parking lot of the La Mariposa restaurant off of E 36th Ave since we never used the entrance off E 38th Ave. I blame my GPS system!). In conclusion, I think this hotel is in a convenient location, the staff was friendly, the room was modern and clean and, the "free" breakfast saved us time. I would stay here again if it was a short stay and the room cost less than the $72/night we paid. The Holiday Inn Denver East just down the street off E 33rd Ave is nicer but it doesn't include a "free" breakfast!

Extremely polite and pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Excellent Mexican restaurant next door. Just over 5 miles from Denver Botanic Garden & < 4 miles to Denver Zoo. Provided storage for suitcases after I checked out & free shuttle to the airport. Would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

Room was ok. Elevator carpet was discusting! They need to clean up the elevators and front area.

it was not bad was expecting something else, but not disapointing.

I enjoyed to couple of things of my stay. First, its a great location. Close enough to everywhere, just 20 minutes away from airport, downtown, and any other main locations. Easy to access to highway. And there's a shopping center right in front of the hotel. Also, I loved the full breakfast. You can find almost everything you like. And they change the breakfast options frequently. I liked the coffee a lot. Free breakfast, free parking, free wifi & very reasonable price for your stay. PS: I've used my coupon for my stay. Best deal ever.

Good , but could be better. Much more clean. Needs improve. Carpets looks like few hundred years old.

A friend and I were traveling to Denver, We had to change rooms because the 2 queen was no longer available, so we were changed into a two double bed. In the room I was changing and the maid not only did not knock but did not even announce she was opening the door and walked in while I was standing there without clothing. I then received a call from the front desk asking several questions in a rude accusing tone as though I was not meant to be in the room in the first place, asking who it was that moved me, when I was moved, why I was moved, my name, last name, address, and instead of apologizing for the mishap kept a rude tone. Then the toilet was leaking so bad I just walked into the bathroom and my slippers were completely soaked through. We placed towels around the toilet hoping it would help but it continued leaking so fast we had to change rooms. In the next room on the bed I saw two bugs crawling, I jumped up and my friend immediately placed a cup over one of the bugs and stated it was a bed bug. We called the front desk and they sent security to look and they confirmed it was indeed BED BUGS! We were told we would be given another room and told we should speak with the manager in the morning. The next room we were changed into we found the blankets pulled back on the bed as though someone had obviously been in there the windows were wide open without screens that were open to the top of the roof where it appeared someone had climbed in and out, we also found a belt on the bed. We were changed rooms yet again, the next morning speaking to the manager we were given 8 dollars in quarters to wash our clothes from bed bugs, and were assured on the day we were leaving that they were having someone come in to clean the problem.The manager complained to us that she was not able to rent out the infested room for the past two days waiting on the bug cleaner and told us of the cost she was losing due to that, and told us of the cost for the bug cleaner to even come in. But HELLO ma'am how about compensation for the possibility that one of YOUR HOTELS bed bugs getting into our luggage. Overall disgusting experience, the manager told us next time dont put our luggage on the bed, but I have never had this issue before and never thought I should need to worry of bed bugs at a best western plus, Apparently I do. Terrible.

Wonderful stay at Best Western. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I used the free airport shuttle to and from the airport and they were great and reliable. Also used the shuttle to and from downtown multiple times - it was a great deal and helped me save a lot of money on transportation!! The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again.

The Best Western is located right off of I-70 and across the road from a great shopping center complete with dining and fuel. Even more exciting is that it is just two minutes away from Bass Pro Shop, a movie theatre and more great shopping and dining. A definite plus is that the hotel offers a free shuttle service every 90 minutes to downtown Denver- just be sure to schedule a pick-up ride before 9:00 pm! The complimentary breakfast is awesome too, something for every taste.
