Cheap hotel great location
Great experience at hotel, room had a great view, and free breakfast was nice. Wonderful for the price. Would be better if was walking distance to town, but the shuttle was reliable.

great views, cozy rooms
The room was very quaint and cozy and had a wonderful view. The shuttle was perfect and dropped us off and picked us up right by the gondola.

Great mountain getaway
My wife and I stayed here for one night just to get away from home. The lodge is in a great location above the town of Breckenridge. It's only a short drive to get to town. Our room was very spacious. The one thing that could have been better was the bed mattress. It was too soft.

We had lunch at Lucha Cantina, which was amazing. It's casual dining mexican restarant where you construct your own burrito, tacos, nachos, etc.

Helpful Staff , lousy microwave!
Staff helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast buffet , only drawback is the 10 year old $50 microwave that is located up in the lobby , a floor above the breakfast , come on guys , spriong for a nesw microwave and have it at the breakfst buffet!!! Overall very nice.

Rustic Charm
We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel, but we were very pleased with the time we did spend there. The hotel had a rustic and cozy feel to it. It was very clean and our room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was great and much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again next winter. It is a short drive from the downtown area of Breckenridge, and far enough away to feel "away from it all."

This is not in the downtown area, it is sitting on top of a small mountain. If you are looking for a hotel that is a short walk to restaurants/shopping/nightlife, then this is probably not the hotel for you, though they do offer a shuttle service to the downtown area.

Had a nice time.
This was a pleasant get-away. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist. Shuttle service was fantastic. The rate was about what I would expect for the location. The rooms were better than average. I highly suggest you call and ask them for directions to the lodge.... If you follow directions given by gps, you will have trouble getting there on the side roads with snow!

Exceeded expectations
While a bit away from Breckenridge Village we felt we got the best of both worlds ie the peace and quiet of a secluded mountain lodge and yet a minutes away from the lifts and nightlife of Breckenridge.

Downstairs at Eric's-an unexpected surprise. Thought it was a typical tourist trap at first but when the food came it was easily the best in Breckenridge.
