Millennium review

I've stayed here several times to visit my daughter at boulder. Service is inconsistent. Room was not cleaned for 2 days and light bulbs out when I arrived. Room was comfortable and staff at desk and bar are very nice

Stay in the updated part

I read in another review that the "older" part of the hotel was inconvenient and elevators were far away. WOW they were right. Room beds were comfy but the halls, etc and the rooms were outdated.

Just OK

This hotel could really be something and really needs something. Its located just off the major high way into Boulder. So very easy to locate and very convinent. The building needs repair, so pulling up into the parking lot was a bit disappointing. Checking in was ok, however the elevator was located far back into the building and difficult to find. I think it was the service elevator and the elevator that the workers and employees use. The room was huge, bearly any furniture in it, and there were holes in the curtains, just poorly decorated and quality just not present. The room was clean and the king bed comfy enough. The price of $179, I thought was a bit much for the quality and value that they offered. A one night stay I guess is ok and was bearable.

not as good as I was told

The hotel is under renovation, so we stayed in the south wing. That's OK. But I do no have hot water the first night. Next morning, when I woke up, I tried to take shower, the water was OK at the beginning, but when I just got my hair wet, it turned cold. I have to get out of the shower, and called for help. People showed up, and checked, and said "it's OK now". I am glad to ask him to wait. As I went to the bathroom, and turned the shower on. Soon it became cold again. I asked the guy to come back, and he said " I will check the boiler". Luckily I woke really early this morning, and I was able to finish shower before my meeting starts! Then 2 nights later, I watched a HBO movie on TV. The movie was good, but after the movie I tried to check the news, and weather. none of the channels worked. Well, it was after mid-night… I wonder if this is the reason?! Complained to the front desk. No apologize or anything. Not sure why..

Not the greatest

The hotel was clearly a nice hotel twenty years ago but I found the overall complex dingy and in serious need of renovation. Lights flickered on and off in the hallways, my room didn't have adequate lighting, and there was no freely available wireless internet in the room. To their credit, there was wifi available in the lounge. This would have been fine if the hotel had adequate seating in a lounge or lobby but I felt pretty awkward sitting on uncomfortable chairs next to the door, and being asked frequently by the staff if I needed anything.

Millinium Hotel Boulder

Does not live up to name/brand. Worth less than half what I paid. Very dated and continually in middle of upgrade. I would not recommend.

Very dated hotel but clean

This is a huge hotel with a wonderful restaurant and lots of conference capacity but very dated bathrooms and facility . I arrived to my room which was open because the door had been painted and was drying. The hotel sent maintenance immediately to complete the job. The bathroom was very old and had no hair dryer and limited toiletries - only shampoo, conditioner and soap . The bed and pillow were very comfortable! We ate breakfast in the restaurant ( not included ) and it was top quality - what you would expect to find in a 4 or 5 star hotel. For the money it was a good deal.
