Spend an unforgettable holiday in the award-winning, comfortable Hotel Lenado in the heart of Aspen. This small hotel impresses its guest with the unique architecture and the rural western-style elegance of the Rocky Mountains. The charm if this hotel is further elevated by its high ceilings, wood stoves, and the friendly American and international staff from Argentina, Germany, New Zealand and Mexico. The hotel offers a nice, cozy lobby with a large, open fireplace, bar, library and a beautiful Jacuzzi with views of Ajax Mountain. The well-equipped, cozy and comfortable rooms have an En-Suite bathroom, soft terry-cloth bathrobes, Bose-Stereo, flat screen TV and maid service is provided twice daily. The gourmet breakfast and après-ski snacks prepared by our chef, are included.

False Advertising

This hotel seems great from its advertising and website, but I did not experience most of what it promises to deliver when I stayed there this past winter. It was difficult to get any rest because you can hear everything from your room (other boarders, staff, plumbing, etc), and the staff was not understanding or sympathetic at all when I complained. I travel to Aspen frequently, and this was definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had while staying in the city. The rooms were very small and not as nice as the pictures. Way over priced.

Underestimated Luxury

Our first time to be spending vacation time in Aspen at this time of the year. Was booked in another hotel but had reservations problem, thus had to move out. First hotel we saw was Hotel Lenado and checked in without questions. Best devil-may-care decision. Lenado is cozy, VERY homey, breakfast that surprisingly reminded me of home back in Arizona from years back. Special applause going to the kitchen staff. Had them cook eggs in different ways and they did it right away! Our room was a bit smaller than what we were used to but it was comfortable enough. Bus stops right in front (very convenient since we didn't bring a car). Lenado is now included in my list of hotels to choose from on our next trip to Aspen.
