Perfect vacation
Loved the hotel, cleanliness and the hotel staff were very helpful.. Two things I would get better... 1. Cafeteria could could be a lot bigger to accommodate all that are staying in the hotel, breakfast was delicious but I felt like Tuna because we were all so thight due to space. 2. Location could hav been better... Closer to the Gondola but is not that bad, you can take their free shuttles and go to the cool part of town

Great
The location of and the fireplace in the room are the highlights of our stay. We were not at all impressed with the lack of caring attitude from the front desk staff. We will return for the great location of the hotel.

Very Accommodating
I had asked for a late check-in not knowing when I would arrive. The staff willingly "bumped" up my room so I would not have to wait a while for my room to be ready. That was very much appreciated.

Shuttle Drive Dawn ROCKS
Great Hotel... not the best front desk service
I went here for my bachelorette party and loved the location of the hotel and the courtesy shuttle to and from the hotels and restaurants. The shuttle drivers (Steve, Richard, and DAWN*our favorite*) were AMAZING!! The front desk worker, London, was very rude and not helpful at all wen trying to fix our room situations. Michael, a manager was helpful but also a little difficult. I would definitely stay here again, however I would make sure to be more specific in my room needs because their reservation desk is not overly helpful. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the private beach area a lot.

Talk about noisy...
The shuttle service to the casinos was great, but the continuous noise from Highway 50 was awful (Not only from continuous traffic, but also road construction). The hotel should put a warning about this on their description, as we were told that the condos available to the public are located on Highway 50. Most of the other condos located at the interior more desirable locations are used by their owners. It made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Lastly, the facility and condos need to be upgraded.

great room
I booked the king bed with the loft and it was really nice. The kitchen was very well equipped, even had a dishwasher. Short walk to lake front. Only bad thing was the woman who checked us in was too busy training new employees to tell us anything about the amenities. Evidently they have a shuttle bus, laundry, and parking underground. Who knew?

Anderson's bike rental has nice bikes for $10 an hour and they give you a map of a paved off-street bike path that starts about a block away. Very pretty, easy ride. Look for a coupon in the tourist guides in the hotel lobby.

Excellent for Families!
My partner and I stayed in the deluxe studio with our 4 and 2 year old. It was an excellent setup because it had everything to make a hotel stay with a family easy and fun! The room has amenities like a full working kitchen, cookingware/dishes/utensils, dvd & vcr player along with the cable tv, working gas fireplace (that comes on and off by a thermostat), a full patio with chairs, and a separate air conditioner/heater. If the kids are older or the family is bigger then a 1 bedroom is recommended but, for us, the bed was big and comfy and there was enough room in the studio for everyone to stretch out and run around. The best was that the facility had heated pools just downstairs along with its own private beach within a short walk. The beach then has chairs, a dock, kayaks and so on which is nice. The pools and the beach are what the kids love the most anyway so we had all we could ask for. Note, this is not necessarily like a hotel setup but more of a condo you stay in that is managed like a hotel. So, in our case, we lugged our own bags to and fro with provided carts but the staff was super friendly and we could get pool towels, Tahoe tips, etc from them. The room was also clean and kept up with maid service. There are no restaurants on site but there are many close by and each room has some menus you can order from. The resort also offers an on demand free shuttle service to any location up until midnight. Highly recommend. It was a home away from home. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Convenient getaway - friendly staff
We stayed in this hotel during the lean ski season (Apr) at Tahoe. We found the staff to be very friendly - for example, we had poker chips in the room and want a card pack and they would give it to us. Same thing with an extra bed, some issue with the toilet was taken care of quickly. Resort feels old, but cozy and a block next to heavenly ski resort/hotels etc., (right on the main road in S. Lake Tahoe). It only offers in room lunch and dinner (you need to walk to the other end of the resort for breakfast) - but it wasn't a big deal.
