East West Suites

The East West Suites that I stayed was rather diapointed than satisfied. It was old but unclean. I can smell the musty old of some thing as I walked into my room. The blanket on my bed was dirthy;besides, there was no bed spread /cover on top of it. The shower spray was inadequet that one might called it a mist rather than a shower. The draining system was poor. There was slightly flood by the time I finished taking a shower. I will not recomend any people to stay at the East West Suites,nor I would look forward to go back to stay there agin. Thank you for asking, sakornbuckoo

There were stains on the bed & the shower head was clogged up. The TV only had 20 working channels. And when I checked in I was asked for cash money, despite the room being already paid for.

My first impression was being a bit dissapointed. I don't remember ever seeing a motel room without carpeting. Other than that. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. I would have liked to have a TV schedule of stations. So, I would be able to choose a channel without having to go through each channel to find CNN. The price was OK considering the location. I will return next year to the same location, if my fianacial status is the same as this year. If I am in better financial shape, I will go elsewhere. Overall, I am satisfied. Below, you asked if I would recommend this to a friend. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who is financially strapped for cash. Bob

Although the location was perfect for my journey the hotel was not. Its difficult to drive in and out of the parking space provided. It's too small with only one way in or out. The man at the deask was smiling and friendly, but you could tell he wasn't real proud of his product. Before I received the key to my room I had to pay a deposit of $50.00 for room security. It was refunded the following day after an inspection of the room at checkout time, but it was truly not necessary for a good hotel and I was offended by it. The first room I checked into was not the best as far as quality is concerned. It was very cheap looking with repairs that looked like they were made by someone incapable of making any repairs. I tried to turn on the television while I was unpacking, but it didn't work, hence I was moved to another room on the bottom floor. The blinds didn't close completely and the door lock was suspect at best. Air conditioner didn't work very well, etc., etc. I would not recommend this hotel at all, and in fact, I will do my best to dissuade everyone from it.

The bedding didn't look clean, the towels had pubic hairs intangled in the threading...went to front desk to get more towels and showed the clerk the hair inside the new towels and they didn't say anything they just started pulling the hair out of the towels and handed then to us....EEEK!!! We were grossed out the rest of the night and unable to sleep. Glad it was a one night stay...never again. Not worth the money at all.

The bed in this room only had a sheet (not fitted) and essentially we were sleeping on the mattress. Asked for fitted sheet and mattress cover but none were available. Overall not very clean and somewhat distasteful.

I had to go down to Los Angeles for a funeral. Part of the church service was Tuesday night, which lasted till 10:00pm, and then Wednesday morning at 9:00am. So it was sad time and I did not want to travel minimum 2hrs each way 4 times. The room could have been cleaner, little more time spent on the tile in the shower, and cleaning the stains on the bathroom counter top, 2 of the light fixtures did not work, which made a dark room if someone had to prepare something, or study, or even read. and coffee in the room would have been nice. There was coffee in the lobby, however it was decaf, and made very weak. Staff was very nice and well dressed and lobby was clean. Driving a full size truck or car is not recommended, there parking slots looked to tight to fit a Honda Civic. Compared to other places leads to that old saying "You get what you pay for!", but being the neighborhood it was in, I expected it to be better.

The rooms were bad and therefore the rate was very high for what I got

Very friendly front desk personnel. Recommended a good Mediterranean Restaurant close by. Sushi Restaurant on the premises but we didnt use it. Desk clerk asked about who we used for our reservation. We replied: Robitz. He replied: Oh, you got a really good deal--only $57, INCLUDING TAX. Not so. We actaully paid you $73.91. INCLUDING TAX. How come? Good value for our 1 night stay of late in and early out. Would not recommend for someone wanting luxury. Bradley L. Winch
