Knights Inn Santa Cruz Beach/ Boardwalk

The room was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and the location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is close to the beach and the downtown Santa Cruz area. We had rented a car but were able to walk to most places. When our bathroom sink became clogged, maintenance was there within an hour and fixed the problem quickly. The only downside was that the walls were a little thin and we could hear more than we wanted to at nighttime. In the end, I would absolutely stay there again. The value is incredible for what you get!

If you are used to 4 and 5 star hotels, you might be dissapointed with this one, but if you are used to 2 and 3 star hotels, this one is on par. Comfortable queen bed with clean room and shower/tub. Had a fridge, but our room missing microwave oven. Was told it was coming soon. We didn't need one, anyway. Was quiet at night for us. Nice easy walk to the Boardwalk from here, the pier a little farther. The office only had coffee from 8 to 10, but I got coffee in afternoon if there was still some in the pot. Had to go out for a full breakfast, but no problem for us. Parking meters everywhere, so you save some money by leaving your car at the hotel. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my children. The boardwalk/beach is just a short walk away. It is a safe, comfortable place to leave your stuff and rest your head while exploring one of the best coastal towns in the country. Amenities are basic. Staff is friendly. I will be staying here when I return to the area. **as with most cali destinations, parking is scarce**

That was my worst experience ever staying in this hotel, actually, I only stayed there for only two hour, and had to check out because the discomfort in this place, there were people smoking outside the room next to us, and had their dogs and cats running out side of our room. When I went in to the room, there were light bulbs were missing, and had to ask to delivere two light bulbs, and also had to ask for dryer and heater.

We had the "suite" that was located right above the lobby and the room was nice and clean. No complaints and would staty there again since the Boardwalk was 5 min away.

We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff, we were well informed by the time we checked in. If you are particular the room would seem a bit worn to you, but I didn't mind, it was clean, comfortable and everything was in working order. I enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to book my next visit here!

A little difficult to find, but within a short drive to boardwalk and downtown.

The location is a little difficult to find, but it's within walking distance of the boardwalk and less than 5 minutes drive from downtown. Rooms have been updated, but furniture placement is a little goofy. Nice staff.

A little difficult to find, but convenient to boardwalk, downtown and west cliff walkway. Mattress was comfortable enough, but pillows were awful (thin and hard). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Good location located close to the Boardwalk, the pier and pretty close to the shops on Pacific Ave. Parking is limited but we had no problem finding a spot in the lot both days that we stayed there. They also provided permits for street parking for free, which is nice. The rooms are clean and the AC works, which are my two most important factors. Our only complaint is that the beds are terribly uncomfortable. I'm not expecting anything world-class, but they were bad enough that we didn't sleep well either night. Overall, good value.
