Nice hotel

The hotel is nice and I would stay again. The main complaint I have about this place would be the location of the room I was in. It was on the first floor and right next to the restaurant. In the morning I could hear dishes banging around and people talking at 7am. This was a last minute booking for me so I understand that this was the only room available during the busy holiday weekend. Other than than everything was good.

Vacation getaway

Overall great hotel. The employees there know how to welcome you into the hotel and make you feel at home. You don't have to wait too long for room service and room service is set at a good price. As well as free wifi in the hotel and complimentary valet parking.

Don't let the pics fool you!

Check in was quick and staff was pleasant. Room was clean but had a strong mildew smell. It was big enough to accomodate a roll away though. Pool was small but kids enjoyed. Buffet breakfast was absolutely horrible! Food was cold and stale. If you must eat there order from the menu. We stayed there with our 3 children. There were other families there but it seemed like the majority of guests were older and bothered by children. Do not let the hotel pictures fool you either. It appears that the hotel is in the forest somewhat secluded. Not at all, it is right off a busy highway. It served it's purpose but for the cost and our less then great experience we will not stay here again.

Too pricey for the accommodations. Spent 1/2 price for a better hotel 5 minutes away the day before check-in at this hotel, but because we did not have advanced reservations we could not spend another night at the other place.

Customer Service was Terrible

The room was nice; I'll give them that but at $383.00 dollars a night, its something I would expect. Customer service on the other hand was terrible and I wouldn't waste my time or my money there again. Maybe that's why they filed for bankruptcy last year. I would expect when you call them and ask about early check in… they would minimally as your name to at least "pretend" to look up your reservation before they just say no. It might just be me, but when a guest is asking about early check in, I'd find the room they were staying in, and put a rush on the housekeeping…But again, that's me!!!
