The West Beach Inn is a recently renovated beachfront property located between the marina and Stearns Wharf. West Beach is just across the street. Guests enjoy sea breezes, garden or ocean views, and warmly decorated rooms. Travelers mingle at the daily evening wine and cheese reception held poolside. - A non-smoking room with private balcony and either one King or two Queen beds. Good location
The hotel was very good for the location and and roominess. The bathroom was small but adequate. They location was excellent it was near everyting we needed. Great value.

wonderful place to stay
Perfection. Clean, well located, large room, lovely pool and view. Very pleasant hotel staff, lovely grass green silk bed cover, excellent mattress and pillows. Nice sized room with king bed. Hotel not too large, very intimate feeling. Definately returning next year.

good location, cozy
nice location, right by the shore. disappointed about they really kick you out at 11pm strict from the pool and jacuzzi. Quite disappointed that for a $200/night room, the breakfast is only slightly better than cheap motel's

Good and comfotable
Nice views , balcony, comfort and convenient for eating and walking along the beach,ice maker, drinking hot water and fruit supply all the time.

Great visit!
We found the staff very helpful suggesting locations and ways of getting around Santa Barbara. The location was central, and handy to public transportation. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. We plan to stay here again.

the hotel is located conveniently close to all the touristy places. front lobby staff was good and generous enough to give a room upgrade. I had a nice view from my room. rooms were kept clean. Only downside (if any) i notices was the hotel walls are too thin and you hear neighbor room noises.

Cozy, little get away..
Loved it! Nice view, comfortable room, great staff, and very clean. The only downfall was that the bed was a little uncomfortable but besides that it was great. Totally recommend people to stay here!

Great location for the price
My boyfriend and I chose West Beach Inn as the hotel for our anniversary weekend in Santa Barbara. We loved the location - it was close enough to State Street (2 1/2 blocks) yet far enough away from the crowds of State St. The electric trolley runs in front of the hotel (every 30 min) or you can walk the 2 1/2 blocks to State St to catch the trolley every 15 min. It is conveniently located less than a mile from the train station so we walked to the station on our way home. They offer wine and cheese each nice which is an added bonus. The room was nice and comfy but appeared to be a bit aged - the shower and bathroom in particular. As a result some things did not look exceptionally clean but it was a result of the age of the bathroom. The hotel was a great location for a decent price compared to other ocean-view hotels.
