Great location
The room was large and well appointed with flat screen tv. The location was amazing. And the price for downtown SB incredible. Front desk staff polite and quick. The only drawback is that the hotel had a bizarre external metal security side door that people used at all hours of the night which would slam so hard, the walls would shake. That said, I would stay here again when in SB but would request a room in the back.

Not a Fantastic getaway
No Continental Brackfast No heated Pool No Elevador, room was in 2nd. floor / lift all item. No small Ref. in Room No Coffe pot in room. (small one cup coffe maker) No Dresser to store your clothes. only hangers for shirts.

egh, no like, hey... it was close to the Sansum Center...
The two front office girls I talked with were very nice and helpful. Towels were dingy...but clean I guess. Sheets were clean, but one pillow case was stained. Room was kinda dingy. Needs a good scrub (or fresh paint) and facelift. Overall quick clean by housekeeping was good and fast. I chose this based on price and the fact that it was close to the Sansum Center that we needed to visit. Just needed a place to sleep and shower. Would NOT choose this as a vacation hotel. No Luxury here. Wouldn't want to stay here with my son. Hate the idea of him touching everything and he is 8! Sorry.... :( But....I did love that this place was located on State Street.

Nice hotel, bad internet
The hotel room was clean and the staff was good. However, the wifi was inconsistent and I had to change rooms to get reliable internet access. The walls were very thin and I could hear the people above me walking around and talking and the people next to me talking and whatnot.

Weekend in SB
Good last-minute deal
Was going on a last-minute trip to Santa Barbara and most deals had expired or the hotels were booked. Orange Tree Inn was the only hotel to have a room available so I booked it for a modest price. There was only one employee who was overwhelmed but all-in-all it was a perfectly fine experience for last-minute. Room was clean and simple. TV worked well and no street noises. Not bad!

Overnight stay
Nice room, within walking distance to two restaurants, clean, simple, just what we wanted this time. We got the room as a place to spend the night so we could attend a family wedding nearby, so we weren't in the room much.

My friend and I checked in without any problems on Friday night. Room was clean. We used the pool on Saturday and the office had a hair drier. Check out was also easy. Very friendly staff
