Good value, sorta old

Stayed here while looking for an apartment (I'm moving here). Nice central location, near some food, groceries. Bed was comfortable, although it was weird that they used a flat sheet (no fitted sheet) on the bottom which barely covered the foot of the bed, leaving the mattress/pad sorta exposed. The stand up shower was tiny!! And the bathroom itself was very small, but it was all functional and resonably clean. The room had a minifridge and microwave which was very useful. Wifi was fast, you get a code at check in. The staff was all very nice ad helpful. The "breakfast" was toast, bagels and fruit cups. It looked pretty nasty, so I made do with yogurt from the store.

Should have stayed at Motel 6

This hotel was no better than a typical Motel 6, yet was twice the price. The beds were uncomfortable, there was a bad smell in the room, underneath one of the beds was a dirty pair of women's underwear (not mine!), the towels were TINY and there weren't enough, the refrigerator was dirty and screens were hanging off the window. The only good thing about this place is the location, in central santa barbara. I won't stay here again.

Rudy's has the best mexican food in Santa Barbara! Its just north of the Oasis hotel on the left side of the street. The tomatillo salsa is DELICIOUS!

Past it's prime

The room was adequate, though not really clean. One of the chairs was disgustingly dirty, stained. The "kitchen" needed cleaning and a coat of paint would do wonders. The bathroom window was hard to lock and provided easy access for anyone coming from the rear parking lot. We had booked three nights to provide a place to stay while we helped our son move in the area. We only needed two nights but since we had pre-paid we couldn't cancel. We didn't stay there the third night. The location was good, close to shopping area and not far from downtown.

Don't even think about staying here

This is called Oasis Inn and Suites, but it is only a cheap and nasty motel. The rooms are so small, i do not know why they call it Suites. They say i will get a room with a garden view, there is no garden only bushes around the pool. I left and they still charge me for the night. Don't even think about staying here.

Clean and decent

Overall, we had a good stay. Easy acces to everything we wanted to do in Santa Barbara. The motel does need some cosmetic work but for a simple, decent place to stay, I would return.

Really, 2stars for $99?

Dirty and scratched furniture- had to sit on towels because of all the stains. Dirty comforter, walls and floor. Blow dryer didn't work. Outlet by bed didn't work. Food was not appetizing at all. Good they had vanilla coffee mate in lobby. $99 was the price I paid through you. Manager didn't know I already paid. He was going to charge me $78 out the door. He wouldn't refund $21 back because I paid cheaptickets. Won't go there again nor use your service. Should be one star and way cheaper. I would not have stayed there two nights. People partying above us during the night too.

Nicely located

The bath is small and the towwels very light. Some things were missing like a clock and the batteries on the remote needed to be replaced. We found a dead battery on the floor beneath the table. We had to re-plug the phon inorder to make a call. A bit pricey for the average motel stay.

Modest hotel in a very good location

For someone dropping a kid off to UCSB the price was right, the location right on State Street and the rooms clean and reasonably sized.

Charming, could use some TLC to bring out potential

The best part about this hotel location is the French bistro's pastries in the center across the street...best in town...second best to being in Paris I heard. Hotel is quaint and charming. New bedding and towels would perk it up. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

Renaults French Bistro across the street...best croissants in California, possibly the USA.
