Within walking distance of wharf and the breakfast was above and beyond. The room was comfortable and clean. I would go back.

Nice location
Beautiful atomosphere. the grounds are lovely! The Inn is small - but nice, very cozy - great perks with wine and cheese hour and milk and cookies! Staff was very helpful, especially Danny. It is a short walk to the wharf and beach - where you can enjoy beach life and resturants - then you can get on a trolley that takes you downtown...really nice feature! Spend the day enjoying the shops and more delicious food, then trolley back - and walk to your hotel.

Remodeled motel
Very clean, older motel converted into present day inn. Outside and inside noise heard because of older construction. Outside light illuminated through door jam. Free wifi was a plus, and the remodeled bathroom was nice too.

Outstanding breakfast but otherwise is overrated
Before staying here I read lots of reviews. My expectations were high. The breakfast surpassed my expectations. The danish were high quality lots of selection including yogurt, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit and OJ. The room however was uncomfortabily small and dark. My guess is that the room was only about 300 square feet. The pictures shown appear much larger than the room is. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were overly big and sufficating of the type that leaves your head hot. The cheese and wine were nice but I expected the cheese to be thicker than wayfer thin. The hot cookies were good but a little hard and were only available in the lobby.

Cozy family stay or romantic getaway
Part of a three B&B group, across a small street from the main inn Brisas del Mar, this adorable inn offers coziness and comfort. The amenities are actually more than enough. Rent bikes for free. Check out dvds. Frolic in the pool and spa at each hotel. Dig in to the continental breakfast that offers parfaits, hardboiled eggs, fresh-cut fruit, etc. They also keep you satisfied with wine and cheese and milk and cookies, while you wait for dinner. It's all so thoughtful, you can't help but feel at ease. The staff is friendly and accomodating, too. The location is a little bit west of most other B&Bs, but it was easily walkable from the Amtrak station (~5 minutes), and only 4-5 blocks away from State St/Stearns Wharf.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
take a short walk (4-5 blocks) east to State St, and take the electric bus (50cents a person) from Stearns Wharf or the Amtrak station to the larger shopping/eating destinations up north. You can hop off at one of the convenient stops, if you want to check out a boutique/store/restaurant along the way.

Perfect place to spend my birthday evening
Such a magical hotel, reminds me of grandma's house. :-) The beds couldn't be any more comfortable, the location is near the beach, and they even let me check out at 2! Great amenities such as milk and cookies in the lobby, wine and cheese hour, free DVD rentals (and they have an awesome selection!), free beach cruiser rentals, etc. I will definitely be coming back :-)

Pleasant accommodations in Santa Barbara
Upon arriving we were a bit surprised by the location of this hotel being on such a bustling street and having virtually no shield from the street noise. However, the room was nice, with a wonderful shower and bathroom. The complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was tasty, and though the street is busy, the location itself leaves little to complain about being that it is so close to the beach, wharf, and plentiful dining options.
