Sophistication with an Asian flair and an indoor pool near Union Square
Hotel Nikko feels more like Hong Kong than San Francisco. The lobby is spacious and stark, and rooms are minimalist in design. The on-site restaurant, Anzu, serves up Asian food with a Japanese focus. Distances at the on-site pool are measured in meters. Just steps from Union Square and the Moscone Convention Center, the Nikko is perfectly located for business travelers in town for conventions. At the same time, it is comfortable for families accustomed to sophisticated luxury.

Great Location!
The hotel was beautiful. Dead set in the middle of everything. A few blocks one way, shopping & eating, and the other galleries, and bars. A little crowded, however you don't have to drive anywhere. Only wished I could ahve napped longer as the beds were comfortable.

In Hotel
Check out line was backed up for over an hour. Although I got my car in less than 10 min, my friends did not. I reccomend checking out earlier / later than 11am check-out.

San Fran Travel
Pleasant stay in a good area
Only stayed there one night, but it served its purpose. It was in a good location only a few blocks from many restaurants and shopping. It was very close to the cable cars which you can take right down to Fisherman's Wharf.

Happy With Our Choice
We enjoyed the hotel. It had a restful feel to it and it did not have a busy, noisy, hectic lobby. It did seem odd to have a charge to use the pool.

SF Trip
Check in was smooth, the rooms were clean and hip but smaller then I expected. The Location is excellent. There is a lot of places to shop and eat within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Hotel was great. Very lovely
Location was central. Down town was great (to many bums in area 5 block area of hotel) The staff and was great room very clean and the fittness area was great!

Go up two blocks on Powell to park. Do not wait for cable car in line. Will save time and this will get you going. Get 3 day pass for buses and you will be able to go every where with this pass.

Great stay
The hotel was in a great location, spotless, comfortable, with friendly staff. The only thing missing were tourist pamphlets and use of Internet and printer was a bit expensive. We really enjoyed it though! They let us check in very early.

the hotel was the most classiest in the area i thought the staff was fantastic the bathroom was great, but the furniture had dents and scratches in it

Hotel Nikko SF
The stay was great, I honestly was suprised at the level of service I received for the price I paid. I had a Deluxe Room with 2 Queens and I can totally see how some would say that space was tight. However for me and travel partner it was just right. Traveling with kids, I would invest in a larger room as this room would not have worked. The furnishings were very clean and not worn at all. When I entered the bathroom I was in awe, very nice. Stay away from room service (1 sandwhich can run you $20 easily) also watch the minibar. The location was perfect in every way, a block to the subway and right in the middle of everything and just a short walk to shopping, dining, and nightlife. If you arrive late, as I did (3AM) there is a great 50's spot called Lori's open 24/7 decent food and close by. Only one drawback was that from my room (12 floor) I would keep hearing firetrucks passing by, but I suppose one can tune such things out. This place is well worth what I paid and I will be back.

Parking of course it on par with the rest of SF, avoid parking at the hotel. There are two self-parks within 1 block which can run you from $10-$30/night, otherwise expect $40 or more w/ the hotel.

Great Location
The location was great...close to Union Square and good restaurants. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our view was not the greatest in the world but it is downtown so do not expect to view the ocean.
