Left my mother-in-law in San Francisco
I have to say that I have read numerous reviews from restaurants to hotels and so many more. The reviews I read about the Best Western Tuscan make you wonder how such a location would be available at such a good price. Well, it's true. The Hotel is close to Pier 39 and a bunch of hop on hop off tour buses. There are many more tour adventure providers in the area. It was a little dingy outside due to road construction in the area but none of this really compromises the stay. The staff were very friendly and befriended my 2 year old instantly making him feel like a star. My mother-in-law and her mother and sister stayed with us there too. everyone was helpful with getting our rooms as close together as possible. Wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this facility for a really pleasant stay.

Do NOT stay here!! Horrible service
I stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend and valeted my car. The hotel moved my car in the middle of the night to a lot two blocks away where my car was broken into. The valet forgot to take two bags out of the car when we arrived and I was robbed of my laptop, passport, documents, etc. I didn't find out what happened until I went to check out the next day and then the manager had the audacity to tell me to please keep my voice down so that the other guests don't find out about the robbery. It was an absolutely awful experience and I have yet to hear back from the m anager

Perfectly situated to walk everywhere
We walked to Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower, the Alcatraz tour, all the Piers, Washington Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and Ghirardelli Square. The bus, F train, and Cable Cars are all close by. The rooms are standard hotel rooms, but well maintained. The minibar has a small refrigerator, so even if you don't use it, take the key from the front desk and you'll have a place to store food. Free wifi is available. The hotel was extremely quiet; we slept well. There's a convenience store about a block away if you prefer cereal or snacks instead of restaurant food for every meal. The price was reasonable given the proximity to tourist attractions and overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Fun getaway
Great location by Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Close to cable car turnaround to go to Chinatown and Union Square. Hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful. Wine reception was great and met a lot of very nice, diverse people. Rooms are very clean and fresh. A little pricey, but hotel provided a suite, so worth it. Had a wonderful time at the hotel and on the tours. Great restaurants nearby plus hotel restaurant is delicious for all meals and snacks. Had a very fun vacation.

Pleasantly surprised.
Our brief stay at the BW Tuscan at Fisherman's Wharf was a pleasure. The hotel was better than expected from the moment we drove up and walked into the lobby. It was obviously newly remodeled and very upscale - not what I expected at a Best Western. The rooms were average in size, with some funky layout issues, but also remodeled and very nice as well. We didn't eat the the hotel - c'mon it's Fisherman's Wharf - but the dining room looked very modern as well. As we walked the area and observed the other 'affordable' hotels in the area I was definately glad we selected the Tuscan Inn.

A convenient location to Fishermans Wharf
We definitely enjoyed our stay. The location can't get any better because it is close to Fishermans Wharf. From here you can walk to Pier 39, Ghiredhelli store, the Boutin Bakery, seafood restaurants, catch the Trolley bus, take local buses to get around town, and we even walked to the famous Lombard street from here! My stay was just to enjoy the city and this hotel was the perfect location to do everything!
