good San Francisco location

The location is the best
I booked a last minute stay in Adante Hotel. It's a hotel boutique in Geary Street. The location is the best of all. After 5 minute walk you can be in Union Square, Nob Hill. In 12 minute you get to Chinatown and if you love to walk you can be in 39 Pier in 30 minutes. Hotel doesn't have a/c, just a fan on the roof. And is noisy, due to works on Geary Street (pavements) that are almost 24/7. For people who loves to walk, loves theaters, art galleries, nice restaurants, and need a hotel to take a shower and sleep, Adante is good for the price. Complimentary breakfast: coffee, tea, toast, waffle, orange juice, apple juce and banana that's all they have. Don't expect more. For me was fine. And I'll stay there again. Look for Cherry, the front desk lady helps a lot. There are more choices, but for the price, this is really good.

Short walk from hotel
During night walk down Geary street, don't walk up the street because there are rude homeless who scream, and fight among them. And street is so dark.

five nights at Adante
Room was clean and room-maid did a great job. My room was facing the street and was noisy at night.

Great value, just don't expect much.
I was looking for a good location at a small cost, and that's exactly what I got. The location is fantastic, but the room could use some love. There is no AC, but the window does open and there was a ceiling fan which helped a lot. The staff were nice enough, and my leaky bathtub faucet got fixed the second day (after I reported it). The breakfast is tiny and more like a snack, but for the cost (considering location), it was fine.

Cheating People
The front desk person will try their best to charge you for extra money like saying making a hold on your credit card account,but finally you will find your card have been charged,but the front desk person just ignore it when you talk to them and insist it will be release itself.So,be careful about this hotel.

Every night extremly loud shouting and fighting in the hotel. The so called 'continental breakfast' is a joke.
