Great, Convenient
The hotel was located in a convenient location facing the harbor and close to Gaslamp District. The view is amazing if you get a Harbor view. Good hotel for the price.

The room we stayed in was more than adequate for the price. Clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be room service. Ordered a pot of coffee Sunday morning...that never showed up!

Great location
Great location. You either overlook the water or the skyline. it's beautiful either way. My biggest complaints were the beds. They were very small and the sheets felt starchy. Pool was great, especially because it was heated. Lots of construction going on right now so it was a little confusing getting there. Also ate at the Restaurant/Pub in the hotel and the service was AMAZING. Apart from the beds and construction, the hotel was great and I think a pretty good value for the location. We were pretty close to everything we wanted to see.

Awesome location for proximity to cruise port!
Great room with a fabulous view. The gal at the front desk was very nice and even called a while after I checked in to make sure everything in my room was ok and asked if I needed anything. From this hotel, you can literally walk across the street to the cruise port, and they have a free hotel shuttle. They also have free wi-fi, which was handy. There is at least one restaurant and lounge inside the hotel, but there are others within a very short walking distance as well. A great stay, and I would definitely book here again!

Wynham: The Best Hotel Service Ever!
This is by far the best hotel service I've ever had. The staff was so nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. Anytime I had questions they were happy to answer them for me. The rooms were very clean. The housekeeping lady for our floor always made sure I had plenty of fresh towels. I will definetely stay at this hotel whenever I go to San Diego again.

Best time of my life
Stayed here with a couple of friends over the weekend. We wanted something close to the airport and downtown SD because we didn't have a car. They offer free shuttle service to the hotel and back which was amazing because it saved us $$ and didn't have to get a taxi. It is walking distance to downtown SD but we decided to take a taxi. I believe the shuttle also takes guests downtown and other SD locations (during specific times). The staff is wonderful, super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We didn't have any issues whatsoever. We were hoping there would be a jacuzzi but there wasn't. It's okay though because the pool made up for it. Compared to other hotels in SD, this hotel is by far the most affordable one. We were able to get a room with a balcony that had a small view of the harbor. I would definitely stay here again! If you are going to park your car here I believe it's $22 each night. There are restaurants near by as well. Many shops and locations are within walking distance. Thank you Wyndham!

Loved it!
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I stayed in the South Tower and had balcony that looked downtown. It is very close to the airport and can even see planes fly in, but cannot hear them (unless you are outside, of course). The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was amazing -right on the bay and only about a $5 taxi ride to the Gaslamp District. I was also a few blocks down from the ferry drop off (took the ferry back from Coranado Bay). There is also a Ruth Chris steakhouse next to the hotel where I was able to have a wonderful dinner with excellent staff and great food!

Good not Great
Nice location, nice view of the water. Just a few minutes from plenty of restaurants, the airport and Baloa park. Parking is a bit of an issue. Self parking cost $22 per night and $28 for valet per night. The room was good: king size bed with 4 small pillows. Very spacious, balcony with city view, bathroom with sliding door and no lock, room was missin our ironing board and iron. Hotel has an outdoor heated pool, no jacuzzi sadly. Small gym. No complimentary breakfast but there's a stand on the first floor that sells pastries and drinks.

OK hotel in good location
I know this is a conversion in progress, but they still have a way to go. For instance, the bed linens were very nice, but the bed itself was obviously still the old (and I mean VERY old) Holiday Inn bed. However the location is great, and what we paid was a great value.
