Intimate hotel located near Mission Bay with pool
The Wyndham Garden San Diego is located within a short drive of Sea World, Mission Bay and just about every other attraction north of downtown San Diego. The property features a heated outdoor pool and hot tub with a large sundeck, as well as Dupar's, a 24-hour restaurant on-site. Visiting children will love the suites with bunk beds. - The room offers two double beds and one sofa bed. These newly renovated smartly laid out hotel suites have a separate living room and bedroom with two double beds, plus one full bathroom. Great Location
The hotel was literally across the street from where we needed to go in the morning. There were tons of stores, restaurants and areas of attraction near by. The hotel was a decent size and clean. Would stay there again

Family trip
Good location and size for a family, you can't beat especially if your in San Diego to visit Sea World. Super close lots of grocery stores with in walking distance if you want to stock up your trip for snacks for kids and loads of fast food chains close by as well, huge swimming pool for kids, clean & safe .

Flight Attendant on Vaca
Could be better
This hotel leaves something to be desired! It was a little creepy and there was a major issue with the tub/shower... It was like there was water under the tub liner so it was like you were surfing while in the shower. Dangerous!!

It is disappointed
The location and staff is good,they have pretty hall,warm pool.It is convenient to take a bus. But Hot spring is closed.the room is old simple.No microwave ,refrigerator.The worse is the cable TV.Sometimes you can hear plane.If you wanna see the bay you need across the dangerous highway. No free breakfast. Comfort Suite is best!

Funeral trip
I have vacationed that included a wyndham hotel. This was the worst. The bathroom was not clean. Carpet needs upgrading. this room was a junior suite, the sofa needed cleaning white spiles on both sides of chusions. mattress too thin. no mirror in bathroom or livingroom. smelled of mildew. grounds not well kept. smoking butt container directly outside non-smoking room. not enough parking. there is a wyndham in my home town that we have used for guest, however, this hotel was a disapointment. We would have moved but funeral was the following morning. We were ashame to invite anyone to come to the wyndham Garden, San Diego.

Segway Enthusiasts
Less than Stellar
Staff upgraded us from 2 queen size bed single room to a junior suite with a single king. If this was a larger room I would hate to see how small the original room was. It was as if the "suite" had been put together piecemeal as an afterthought. The was very little space to walk around. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. But the fire alarms in the entire building went off at 10:30 at night and it was several minutes trying to figure out how to quite them and then they shut off automatically. Du-pars is the 24 hour restaurant and altho the food was adequate (comparably to a good Denny's in selections) , the prices we're outrageous. The place was virtually empty and after eating here I can see why.

Short drive from hotel
There is an IHOP not too far away and the prices we're much more reasonable. For an different was to see San Diego, head to Segway of Mission Beach and have a blast on their personal transport. The people were helpful, the freedom to go anywhere you want on the Segway was great. Definitely worth the money!

Defrosted in SD
Great choice for the price
We were upgraded to family suite for free at check in which was great. I called down and asked for more towels and they were brought up within a few minutes. The beds were comfy, the pillows not so much. Great location. We stayed for a week and would stay at this hotel again.

You have to have breakfast at Hash House a go go! The food was fantastic, we went three times in one week.
