FABULOUS, and wonderful place that makes you feel like you are really at the Palace of Versilles . THe décor is INCREDIBLE! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Location is perfect right next to gas lamp district with many shops and restaurants! Rooms very upscale, elegant and comfortable!

Luxury, beauty and style!
This is a fantastic hotel!! I loved this hotel. Close to public transportation so I didn't have to drive. It was close to the harbor and all the wonderful tours and sites. Close to shopping. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The Sunday buffet was amazing and not as expensive as others around town.

great location , beautiful hotel, clean facility
We went to California for a conference and stayed at the Westgate Hotel. We were not happy to find out about the cost of valet parking upon check in. We were not aware of this additional cost. The hotel was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly. very clean facility. Excellent location. We could walk to anything that we wanted to see. Excellent restaurant options nearby.

Great business trip
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and comfortable. Free upgrade. Would certainly stay there again. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Great accommodations
This hotel lives up to its billing as a quality place to stay in San Diego. The customer service and decor are on par with any other high-end hotel. The location in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter makes for a short walk to most of the nightlife in downtown and a short drive to the city's many other attractions. Good rates are available, but beware that they hit you up for a $15 fee for every night you stay. Parking is also expensive.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms in an older, updated hotel. Location a bit far (20 minute walk) to convention center, but would return for another work-related visit. Modest positive in small gym downstairs. Smart way to bundle ($15/day) water, newspaper, internet into daily charges.
