A Night At The Bristol
In town for a meeting, I wanted a place in the business district but close to shopping and sites. The Bristol is a little gem. Great room, great location. A nice change from the stodgier hotels that I've used in the past when in San Diego.

The Gaslamp Quarter shops were a short walk -- 3-4 blocks. And, the USS Midway and other sights aren't too much further.

Great stay in San Diego
The Bristol is very well located, within easy walking distance to the harbor and Gaslamp District. The desk staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Only drawback: restaurant is a little pricey, but there are plenty of eating places around. I'd definately go back again.

Comfortable
Check-in was friendly, my husband and I received a room overlooking the bay. Accomodations were very comfortable and more updated than other similarly priced hotels in the area. Valet was quick. Location was very convenient, a trolley stop is right around the corner, it's walking distance to the bay and gaslamp district. We would happily stay again.

Great Place
We arrived late into San Diego. Our clean, large room was waiting for us when we arrived. My wife and I just loved this place. It was clean and comfortable. Close to shopping for her and the convention center for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would surely stay here again.

Short drive from hotel
Little Italy Italian restaurant was a true find. It is on University Avenue and we discovered it by accident. The owner greeted us upon arrival and talked enthusiastically about all the freshly made food. We had a great lunch and would have gone back for dinner if we were not leaving before then.

Nice small friendly hotel
This is a small upscale hotel, but is located across the street from the bus depot. We did not find this to be a deterrent. Rooms vary in size, but are comfortable and attractive. This was our second stay at this hotel and I would choose it again - especially if they are offering one of their specials.

There are a number of good choices within walking distance and the harbor is a $6 cab ride if you choose to ride. The restaurant in the hotel has good food also.

Nice clean hotel in a great location
We stayed at the Bristol for two nights on our return from Hawaii. The hotel was very clean, great housekeepers and the location to the Gaslamp District made this a perfect spot for us. I would recommend this hotel for adult travelers to San Diego. It is a $10.00 cab ride to the airport.

Very good location
The hotel is very well located and the staff is extremely friendly. The unique problem we had was with the wireless network to access the internet. Our room was at the end of the hall and the signal was so weak that I had to go to the lobby to connect my MacBook.
