friendly staff
we were very happy w/our stay @ the super 8 motel. the day time desk receptionist was VERY friendly & plesant. our kids LOVED the heated pool. the rooms were pretty standard but it was great to have a microwave & frig in our room. the location was really good, few blocks from the beach, close to sea world. my husband said the local restruants/nightclubs were hopping.

Needs Work
The Hotel is in a good location bc its near the freeways however, the neighborhood its in is not very safe. The Room was a clean but, the carpet needed to be changed as it was coming undone. The common areas were very dirty. This place seemed overpriced for what you got.

Close to the beach-
The room was comfortable. The sheets and comforter on one bed were noticeably dirty...staff gladly fixed the problem. Everything was close by. Laundry on site, careful icemaker leaks, don't slip. Pool heater was'nt on at night so no evening dips. All in all we had fun and had a quiet place to rest our heads.

Staff was great
Overall it was an ok experience. The Hotel is in a great location however the roads are under construction and access was difficult. The super start breakfast was ok but it would have been better if they had some fruit or yogurt of some sort. The staff was great and very friendly overall I gave it a B and would stay there again.

There is just about everything you need within a short walk (Mervyns ahopping center across the street) and plenty of fast food restaurants. A shout dive 10 (minutes) is Chuyla Vista with a great eating area. Red Lobster, Marie Callendars and plenty of others.

"Unbeatable location for the price"
This was a last minute trip. The room was great. No complaints whatsoever. Would reccommend to all my friends.
