Fantasy hotel
Our six year old granddaughter called this "Fantasy Hotel" as soon as she saw the tennis courts, hot tub, pool, free breakfasts and free light dinners, kiddy bingo and kiddy TV specials. The staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel to one and all.

Great Place to Stay
We had excellent service, a few tweaks but all in all the staff and hotel were great. I would stay there again. Hotel had great free breakfast, and happy hours daily. It was close to Sea World, Old Town, not far from the beaches.

disappointing stay
My experience with service was poor. Housekeeping did not make up my room until after 5 pm and that was only when I complained at the front desk. I had no clock in my room when I checked in and the person answering my call asked, "Are you sure"? When I checked out, I found a form letter on my car stating that I was taking up two spots (!) and the next time I did that I would be charged an extra fee. I was NOT in two spots; I was on the white line because the SUV next to me was over the line. I felt that being reprimanded in this way was not appropriate for a hotel of this caliber. However, in the end, my comments were listened to by one of the managers who sent me a very nice email, apologizing and offering me a 2-night stay to make up for my experience.

Allot a generous amount of time to be able to thoroughly see and enjoy Balboa Park. It is loaded with museums and gardens, worth visiting.

Great Vacation stay
Excellent stay. Everything was great except the parking. Original information showed free parking. $13.00 per night was a surprise.

Great honeymoon!
The hotel was fantastic all around! The hotel staff were super friendly and even gave my husband and I a complimentary bottle of champagne for our honeymoon! They offered a deluxe breakfast buffet every day whih was great and offered anything you could think of. During the week they also offered complimentary beer and wine and dinner in the evening. Location was great, we had a rental car and we were able to get to everything in San Diego within 10 min. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Will definitely be on the lookout for other Residence by Marriott on our next vacation.

Great place to stay
Staff excellent. Hotel condition and amenities great. Best selection of food for complimentary breakfast for any hotel I've stayed. Even complimentary dinners!! This hotel was ranked high when I did review and I agree. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Great family getaway
Went on a short trip to see the sites in San Diego. Could easily have stayed here for a week! Very comfortable, lots of room, quiet, staff was great, the other guests were friendly, close to all the sites, and attractions, and the price was good.

When Going to the zoo make sure you dress comfortable and wear comfortable shoes you will be doing a lot of walking up and down hills

San Diego Week
Very good location, close to the airport and Old Town San Diego. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Close to zoo and other attractions. Only downside was $13 a day for parking. Large room with kitchen, great for 4 people.
