Great value
Our room was small but spotless and the bed was really comfortable. We were within walking distance of downtown and there was freeing parking. A great value for a one-night stay.

At least the TV and AC/heating worked
Was to far from most attractions, had roaches in bathroom, when you flushed toilet had so much force usually legs got wet, shower got entire bathroom floor wet, bed was like a couple of springs in your back. Staff was cool but thats about it. Wouldn't recommend to any of my friends.

If you want to save money and be away from all attractions and nitelife this is it. If you have back problems don't stay more than 1 night.

Good hotel at good price
I was pleased with staff service, the hotel is close by San Diego Downtown and it´s perfectly communicated for people traveling either by public or particular transportation. The hotel amenities were ok, it´s a good hotel to stay in a clean, safe enviroment. For me, this porperty worked fine because i went to san Diego for shooping

Great location. Comfort to be improved
Perfect getaway for the city center, maintenance should be improved in order to guarantee an ordinary comfort. WC was misfunctioning and we managed to repair (it was an easy thing) F&G alarm was broken and ringing but we managed by our selves. In any case it is clean enough and warmly suggested for the great location.

close to downtown
Great location. Hotel was clean, rooms were small, but it was perfect for a one/two night stay.

Short walk from hotel
Hotel is within walking distance to Gaslamp district, however I would recommend a cab at night (about $5). During the day it's a perfect short walk.

I would stay there again !
I took a walk to Balboa Park, took a short ride with a bus to the shopping center in Hillcrest , went to Coronado Island with a Broadway Ferry. I didn't have a car, yet I've been all over the place, some on foot ( I like walking), some with the bus and a ferry. This hotel is an ideal spot in the downtown and from here main attractions are within dissent distance.

worst hotel ever stayed in US
They only have one bed in each room even you booked for two alduts. Even we asked for a non-smoking room, they told us the room will be a smoking one just simply they sold out all non-smoking room. And we stayed for five days, the house keeping just cleaned our room twice. They dont have shuttle to the airport, and no free internet.

Affordable with great location
Very good location to travel around San diego and easy access to freeway. Small room but new and clean. Overall, it's worthwhile for this affordable price.

Great Hotel
Very nice hotel. Recently renovated, very basic, but acceptable clean. Very safe, quiet and well managed. Nice location, right in down town and near harbor, public trans ect... parking free and safe. Room basic and not too small and was not crowded. very nice tv Staff very helpful, and professional. Got a rate of only $53 and that was from motel 6 reservation system. i would highly reccomend this Hotel for a traveler on a budget that wants a nice basic clean safe quiet room.
