A great hotel

The hotel is beautiful when you walk in. The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was large and a wonderful touch was a nightlight in the bathroom. The staff was friendly. Hotel is located in gaslamp disctrict, walking distance to many restaurants. For baseball fans, walking distance to Petco Stadium. Hotel Indigo is the perfect place to stay in San Diego. Can't wait to return.

Many restaurants are walking distance. Determine the distance first because valet parking can be pricey. I did not eat at the hotel, but I bet the food is good.

Nice Digs

We attended a Mary Kay Leadership Conference at the San Diego Convention Center. We took a Cab one day, but decided to walk the rest of the week, since it was just a few blocks away. There were plenty of Restaurants in the area. And the Warf is close enough to walk as well. We were a little suprised at the cost of parking-$32.00/day, but I'm sure that it is par for the course in the big city. We liked the newness of the Indigo and the staff went out of their way to make it a pleasurable experience. We used the gym and it was sufficient for a decent workout. Over all, we had a nice stay.

Hotel Indigo Gaslamp San Diego

Hotel was fine, normal hotel, good rooms and all, but dont try and sneak a cigarette in one of the rooms cuz theyll jack you and your credit card for $300 if they smell smoke in the room the next day.

Mary Kay Leadership Conference

The hotel was beautiful. It met all our expectations for our stay during the Mary Kay Leadership Conference. It was in close proximity to the convention center and the restaurants in the Gaslamp district. Loved that the hotel was pet friendly even though we didn't bring our pets.

Hotel Indigo, Amazing Stay!

The hotel room was amazing! The bathroom, especially, was pretty epic. My boyfriend and I stayed there for three days, and it was very calm/relaxing. The only downside was the parking. They pretty much tell you that what's not taken outside is what's left. We didn't want to end up paying for valet, but we actually had to pay for parking (for ten hours only) one night. Other than that, the hotel itself was immaculate.

Unexpected luxury.

Hotel Indigo was a few blocks from the center of the gaslamp district. The staff was young, energetic, eager to assist and had great suggestions for dining and entertainment. The atmosphere is very chic and modern-but the feel is warm and inviting. Great find!

The reviews are right

Went to San Diego for the Poinsettia Bowl game at Qualcomm Stadium. Only stayed one night. I didn't realize valet parking was the only parking option. If you're driving be prepared to fork over $32.00 per night to park. The hotel has an airport shuttle available for $10.00 each way though. It's located in the east end of the downtown Gaslamp District, therefore real estate is at a premium. My room was tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. Exceptionally well done. My initial impression of the room was "WOW! I wish I could afford to hire the decorator who did this." It was that nice. The nicest I've seen. Guys, the women will love it and you can quietly say with confidence, " Yeah, it's pretty cool", but in your head say, "Yes, a winner". You'll score big points here. I had a quiet corner room on the eighth floor, with an excellent view of the downtown skyline from both large picture windows. A really comfortable, firm king bed with bed covers that actually felt and smelled freshly laundered. That was a biggie. The only hotel I can remember getting in bed and saying, "Ohh, this is nice", about the bed. Needless to say, I slept well. The bed and decorations combined with the clean bathroom and shower elevates this to best of breed. A key point worthy of mention...During my stay I never felt like I was staying in a room that had been used by possibly hundreds of people. My room also had a thermostat to control the temperature. I've paid a lot more for hotel rooms, but overall this was the best hotel dollar I've spent regardless of price. When I visit San Diego again this will be my first choice.
