We checked in the hotel and within minutes after opening the room door, we checked out. We ended leaving and driving home instead. The area looked somewhat seedy and unsafe. I would like a refund since we didn't stay.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP! I checked in around 10:30 p.m. (after driving for 7 hours) and was not impressed with the location, the folks hanging out around the perimiter, and the filthy stairs. Once I checked in, I went to the room, into the bathroom to freshen up and saw hair all over the floor and walls! OMG!! Two minutes later, I walk into what was to be the bedroom, pulled the covers and sheets back and there were 2 BUGS CRAWLING IN THE BED!! I was mortified. I immediately grabbed my bags, went to the front desk, advised them of what I saw, checked out IMMEDIATELY and demanded a refund!

I booked one Non-Smoking Room & one Smoking Room, I was not given a smoking room & then was told that if I would have arived earlier I could have gotten a smoking room, I stated at the time of online reservation that I would arrive after 5pm, when finally switched to a smoking room around 10pm, there was two female hygene cleaning(vaginal) empty bottles that where just sitting next to the refrig, when I called the front desk to inform them, she said thanks and her reply is that they (housekeeping) is suppose to clean the room. No one was ever sent to remove the vaginal cleaning bottles.

Sorry to say we did not enjoy our stay. The ac went out the time we got there. They did not have another room to give us, so they gave us a desk fan. We really liked the location, but we could not get anyone to help us with our ac problem. And they did not do anything for us to make up for the none working ac. They did give us one extra day,but only after I got very upset with them for their lack of help.

I went to San Diego for the weekend for my daughter softball tournament. After the three games we were so tired that all we wanted to do was rest. When we got to the hotel the A/C in the room was not working the room was humid and hot. I called the front to report the A/C, they said they would send someone to check it out, which they did. The maintenance guy said he would replace the A/C. After waiting for almost an hour nobody had showed up to replace it. I called the front desk told them that I was still waiting for the maintence guy to come an replace the A/C. The person in the front desk said that they didn't have another A/C unit so I told him to give me another room and he said he didn't have any rooms available. The person in the front desk said that the only thing he could do was to give me a refund. So I was left looking for another hotel late night. The only good thing was that the person in the front desk offer to help look for another hotel.

Ideally we wanted to stay near Gaslamp district, but since we were going to go to Sea World, this was an ideal hotel location. I've stayed at many budget hotels/motels, but I definitely think this one was the worst experience I've had. I specifically wanted to have a non-smoking room. When I checked-in, the guy mentioned something about all the rooms being non-smoking or whatever. We got a room on the first floor, it had a picture of a non-smoking label on the door, but as soon as we walked in it REEKED of cigarettes and mold. There were stains on the carpet and the walls. The worst part was that the sheets felt so dirty we hardly got any sleep that night. My boyfriend has eczema so he is highly sensitive to unclean cloths. He broke out and was extremely itchy all night. That means that the sheets were SO dirty. Typically, hotels/motels wash their sheets EVERYDAY. If this hotel washed their sheets everyday, then they wouldn't be dirty, RIGHT?!

This hotel should never be listed on anyone's website. 1st giveaway was the comments on this hotel from the previous reviews. (definately should have listened). Anyway we arrived at the hotel and when we got out of the car there was a horrible stinch in the air like old smelling water. I figured that the smell in the air was becasue we were close to the water. We checked in and went into the hotel room and omg..there was a wet, moldy smell in the room. We turned on the air conditoner and it had the same wet, moldy smell pumping through the room. We looked inside of the fridge and there was mold in the fridge. The room was extra small, carpet nasty, and the air conditioner was still pumping wet nasty air. I had two children with me and there was no way that I would ever stay there by myself and definately with children. MOLD is not good for anyone. [...] To anyone that reads the reviews, if you have second thoughts go with it.

Coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, tissue paper and soap in room was never replenihed. No hair condioner provided. Soap was of very poor quality. WIFI access not reliable. Hotel is understaff. Hotel premises not properly secured. I saw a homeless person stored his belongings in the parking lot behind the bushes.

The hotel was horrible. I requested a room that was non smoking and I was put in a room that smelled very very bad of smoke. I decided not to even stay there and went to stay at another hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying there and the area was bad too plus its next to the FWY and was very loud with the traffic. Very bad!!
