Heritage Inn San Diego - Sea World

It is not in the centre of San Diego, but it is very close to Sea World (which is why we were there) and if you have a car, it's a 5 minute drive to downtown San Diego. The hotel is simple but clean and has everything you need for a great stay.

The rooms were clean and very close to Sea World, several good restaurants and stores. Anything I could have needed I had easy access to. Definatley plan to stay there again.

I looked at alot of hotels around san diego and for the price you can't beat here. It's near everything you need (seaworld,san diego zoo,7-11,dinner spots, ralphs,etc.). Room was very clean, staff was very friendly and informative, wasn't to loud, and location was perfect. A little difficult at first to find the hotel but besides that everything else was up to par. Loved my stay,planning on staying here again soon, and would definately recommend to anyone else vacationing in san diego.

We went there for our 2010 Vacation to sea world, it was great the hotel was only one mile from the park, there is a CVS across the street from the hotel just in case you forget your shampoo or tooth paste. ther is also restarants across the street wich was great if you dont want to spend too much in the park. The only thing that was missing is that we could not walk to the park there is no side walk to the park we had to pay for parking 3 times wich was not a good savings. Over all it was great and I wold stay at the same place if I ever go again.

Great location and price. Stayed 2 nights and it was worth the price.

Pretty standard for a one star place, it was relatively clean and neat. Each room has a fridge which was useful. The main drawback is that the walls are quite thin. I happened to have some noisy neighbors who were talking and smoking outside their room and you could clearly hear them. When they went inside their room, you could still hear them talking. But, the front desk was very helpful, I called to complain about my neighbors and the front desk called the room and warned them to quiet down or be asked to leave (it was close to midnight). So if you have no neighbors, its a great place to stay, its all luck of the draw. Also, if anyone smokes outside your room on the walkway, the AC unit will pull that smoke into the room, so be considerate and smoke away from the rooms.

Pretty standard hotel; not too clean but not too dirty, not too quiet but still able to sleep. The best part was clearly the price ($40, booked 7 hours before arriving). The place was definitely nothing special but it was everything i needed it to be.

The hotel was fine for the little amount of time we were in it. You hear the planes fly overhead. The staff was nice, however the room smelled too strongly of carpet cleaner.

The hotel was ok for the value. Went there to attend a concert and to go to Sea World. This Hotel is very close to Sea World, and within walking distance of the Sport Arena (where we went to se the concert). It was a good stay overall.

Well, I paid for 2 rooms....One was 112 dollars for 2 beds and one was 99 for 1 bed. I was told when I got there that they were over booked and they upgraded me to two rooms with 1 bed each. So basically, I lost out on that 13 dollars. Also, I saw no upgrade. It was a non-smoking room, when I requested smoking. I didn't get the bed space I asked for, and we were on the third floor. It was noisy and kids were running around constantly. For the price, it was great. Great location. I was maybe 5 minutes away from Ocean beach. I would stay there again in a heart beat. I just wish they would have given me what I had paid for. Oh also, they gave us free toothpaste for a complimentary item. It was rotten and expired. Quite nasty when I didn't notice at first. YUCK!
